  1. Here's the crime fighting super hero "Puss In Boots". 30 years after his prime. (comes with mini McD bag and "the finger".)
  2. Trial and error is the only method. Especially since the colors on the heads differ. Sorry.
  3. Yeah, I need to know that, too, Sam.
  4. Happy birthday to the three of you! Have a great one.
  5. I guess besides the sculpted parts (again: brilliant!) it's the chosen Thor cape that really makes this Vader stand out. I expect a lot of people who have or will customize Vader to follow that idea.
  6. I haven't collected any action figures before, after I spent my childhood with Masters, Star Wars, MASK, GI Joe, etc. I was clean for over a decade and then I stumbled upon a pic in the internet, showing a tiny LEGO man looking just like Captain America who happened to be able to strap his shield on his back. Frack me, the desire for that guy struck me from nowhere. Of course I figured out that you couldn't buy this guy here in Germany. Anyway. A little research later, I found out about Minimates and picked up the Invaders set off of eBay. (Newbie, I know.) And damn, that guy rocked. The details were amazing, the interchangable parts just great and the articulation superb. I only needed that one little figure... Then I stumbled upon this forum. Learned about customizing, which I actually never thought about before, since I haven't bought any figure for ages. Customs got me seriously hooked. The possibilities are incredible. I was able to have all figures from every minor story/movie/comic/cartoon I wanted. Just great. So I usually collect characters that I like from all different lines and figures that offer a high potential for customization. But, as some have already mentioned before, without this community, I wouldn't have stayed as long as I did so far.
  7. Overrated. Bloody brilliant custom and story, Luke. I like your sense of humor.
  8. I have no idea who all the dudes and dudettes are but I love the look of those. I was very pleased to see that one single Samurai guy in the preview and am totally excited to see a whole bunch of these guys! Might be the first time I'm going to buy a whole line without knowing who the guys actually are. In other words: brilliant job, DST!
  9. Happy belated birthday to our second oldest member. Happy birthday, Don!
  10. Impressive! Most impressive! Love the details on his armor. And the helmet. Gosh, great helmet!
  11. I can image something the other way around as in Dark Knight Returns. Supes somehow offering to work for/with the government, Bats - remember, he is the clever one of these two - figures out that doesn't turn out that well. The whole instrumentalizing/ gov pet thing. They fight and then they found JL. That said, DKR is a fantastic comic, but I don't see anything like that work in a movie based on a just recreated universe.
  12. That's what I thought. And then I thought this, too.
  13. This is one of the best line ups in quite a while. I especially love how you can most of these guys into alternative versions of the character. Great!
  14. Happy belated birthday, Shane! PS: Totally forgot about Luke's Shane decals!
  15. Great customs! I love the western style! The colors are perfect and the hommage to the Dollar trilogy (and Rango) are fantastic!
  16. NORTHRAIDER BACK ONLINE? WHAT! BEST SDCC NEWS EVER!!! In other news, I totally love all the samurai guys from the Tomb Raider line. And Pulp Fiction and Sin City might be great new lines!
  17. Bloody brilliant customs! I especially love Johann and Abe. I never managed to come up with a good idea for an Abe custom, but yours is fantastic. For some reason, Hellboy Universe customs are always winners.
