Umm, what pieces? Cant remember hearing about any promo pieces. I got the 4 from the kickstarter, and the strech goal figs of the summoned cthulhu and cultist with the black leader deco. What did I miss?

If you havent looked them up, the legends of cthulhu figures from Warpo's kickstarter are fantastic and they are doing a 12 in Cthulhu and a gitd version as well. I have the figs, working on saving for the cthulhu's.

That sucks, Might still get it due to the pale green that it looks like. Very much like a Lovecraft monster.

I agree, they were all pretty easy to tell apart, though I missed the reindeer on my first feel through. Ive been wishing since the protos were shown that more would happen with Oogie as he just seems plain. The torn arm and facial expressions are the only difference between the 2, and I ended up with 2 of each because i didnt realize the torn arm was there to feel for and I looked at the torn face wrong the first time I found it. Chest underneath is blank unfortunately, but maybe we can get a buggy decal going for his front and back. Boogies bottom half is a solid piece with thigh pegs sculpted on, weird short legs and regular feet. The clown is cool but I have issues with it. He has minimate legs and arms. The fat jumpsuit is hollow but limits all the articulation. Also theres no hole in the alt head to plug the pinwheel hat into. The unicycle is funny, but it looks like he was sexually assaulted as its coming out of his butt. Maybe its me not paying attention to the clowns butt in the movie. Also the feet have roller skates sculpted on so it gives him a high heels effect. Its a cool mate but I can't do a lot of fun stuff with him and his parts. Also for Sally's skirt, the whole that the peg goes throughis a lot thicker than other skirts. So her top half might have some issues staying on for some people. Its sculpted that way and really could benefit from a longer peg. Im probably going to add apoxy to the peg to help it out. I think Oogie's head was a solid 1 piece gmonkey

I finally tracked down a Cthulhu pop yesterday at a hot topi when getting my nightmare mates. So this is my first and only pop. Unless I lose my mind and get more or they make more lovecraft pops. Actually I might get the EE GITD Cthulhu variant. Me and my wife watched Dagon last night to celebrate me finding it. Good times.

I think the perspective is off making one jack look smaller, The oogies look like a different size in the background too. When I had the next to each other they seemed like the same size. The Dr's skirt is annoyingly static. So he was the easiest to feel up between that and his giant wheelchair. At least his skull is articulated.

I'll try to get a clearer shot later, but i noticed for those that wanted to know if there is a difference, the Promo Jack has a slightly bigger smile (on his right) and a white tampo for the pinstripes on the chest, and big white eyes on the bat collar. HT Jack has a grey/silver tampo for pinstripes and small grey eyes on the bat. promo on the left, HT on the right heres my whole haul with promo jack next to torn oogie

I still need the haunted house but just getting one of each is hard on the budget. I would love 2 or 3 of the haunted house so it could work for minimates.

No problem. So I'm seeing 3 regular Oogies and 2 torn. My reindeer has 4 legs. I didn't think of the HT stickers being the reason my case was out of order.

I also found another mutagen Donnie today while failing to find any new marvel mates at tru.

Did you buy doubles of all those other sets to build them in minimates scale too? I only have one of each, except the haunted house which gets more expensive every moment I dont buy it. Do you have pics of them like this lighthouse?

We had already been told after the 3 x waves last year that we might not be seeing any x related mates for a while. I'd bet that disney/marvel doesnt want any merch whatsoever for fox films, regardless of repping comics or movies.

Are all the reindeer GITD? He said the reindeer was the one per case at hot topic, and there are 2 oogie boogies on the box. Heres his pic of the reindeer, he didnt buy anyone else for us to see pics. I guess I hadn't noticed the wreath around the neck, pretty neat. I did call 2 local hot topics and they didn't have them, but one store at least the guy had heard of minimates and both were excited when I described them. These conversations were way more pleasant than the ones I had with gamestop employees when mass effect mates came out.
