A few new marvel waves aren’t going to solve the issue that all the other major minimate lines (NBX, Aliens, Predator) are at their end and the buyer that made most minimate lines possible is gone. Kingdom Hearts is the only other minimate line with a possible long life left but it doesn’t appear to be generating much interest. Although that probably has some to do w KH3 being pushed back so much. Sonic is coming but that’s a short lived line if it even gets enough orders to be made. Minimates needs new licenses and new ideas. Hopefully, DST has a lot in the works and is just waiting until SDCC.

Definitely time for creative product and new licenses. Unfortunately DST is more of a follower than a leader when it comes to ideas for minimates (Blind Bags, BAF).

Does this mean Walgreens is the retailer that will be picking up comic-mates that TRU used to carry? Good that they found a new home, bad that minimates are becoming more and more a drug store chain exclusive.

Make better exclusives that people actually want and they’ll sell better. The last few have been bad, so at least we aren’t missing out.

Other stores can use the same SKU for multiple waves since those SKUs don’t last very long and are then replaced and items are clearancd. Usually during beginning of the year resets and package changes. The animated minimate SKU is now three years old! I’ve also given up on trying to figure out what causes a restock. It used to be if they got down to a couple packs or less the Walgreens would restock. Then it was they got every wave but that caused a glut. Now stores don’t get every wave and I’ve been to multiple Walgreens that have 1-2 packs and have been that way for months yet other stores with more packs will get a restock. ?

Well I wanted to subscribe to watch Young Justice Season 3 but this seems like a shitty thing to do especially since it's not available outside the US. I forgot how ugly Superman's face was in the 1st season. Might skip Supes and be happy w the Animated Series figure.

Probably just in time for DST to announce they are the new home for comic minimates and a bunch of other stuff. There are definitely too many Gamestops and they'd be better off closing some. Not good when the biggest buyer goes out of business, the next biggest buyer is a drug store, most comic shops dropped minimates due to sales decreasing from TRU overlap and now Gamestop troubles. Hopefully, DST was able to get into Target or starts embracing online/direct to consumer sales. There's really no other good avenues left.

I know DST has said there's a reason the 4-packs price went up, but I've always been curious to what it is. There's more plastic in one 4-pack packaging then two 2-packs but less cardboard. However, that doesn't seem like enough to explain the price difference. More worrying to me about the loss of TRU, than a price increase, is just less minimates made in general. DST is making a lot more products that aren't minimates than before and now with the #1 buyer gone I don't think they'll be looking to make minimates very much.

Meh. ? really wanted to like this but the trailer is generic and blah as you can get. Kids and "Scientist" Olivia Munn don't give me a lot of hope.

Cull’s skin color is wrong, eyes are the wrong color and the tassel was different colors on the movie, along w no club.

@MisterPL gets it. ⬆️ A comic guardians wave is desperately needed. We have one comic style guardian (Gamora) from long ago. DST made the whole team in more expensive Select form why can we not get them as minimates?

It took me 7 Walgreens to find this wave. The stores have stopped getting in every wave and are now only getting them in if they need new stock. Same w the movie mates. Out of those 7 stores only 2 ever got in the Infinity War due to a glut of Thor/Black Panther packs. At least around me the sale did nothing to thin out the peg warmers.

Pleased to see 4 packs for Walgreens and the Black Order should be completed. Unless it was budget issues I don’t see why DST would skip the Outriders and make Falcon, Gamora, Drax instead. I would think an army builder would be in more demand and sell a lot better.

Hmm....old licenses coming back. There’s Halo, MvC, Street Fighter, LOTR, Terminator, TMNT, Tomb Raider, Rocky, BTTF, PvsZ, Spongebob, Mass Effect, Lost in Space and a few minor ones like Grimm Fairy Tales. Most are not that popular anymore or had full lineups. I can’t think of any but Street Fighter, TMNT or LOTR having any chance of selling.

Just gloves and boots. I find it very plain, maybe I'm just used to Cap minimates having gloves/boots it just looks off to me.

I like this wave much more than wave 74. The selection and execution are much better, even with Quake being kind of a lame BAF. I found Wave 74 to be boring. Surtur and King Hulk are nice but the rest are just dull to me. I really like the Hydra Cap design but the minimate needs some sculpted pieces, all tampos just doesn't look right to me.
