Personally, I think Marvel Legends works just fine for the large figures, in Minimate scale. I don't mind a different style, so long as the scale is correct; scale bothers me the most. My 16 inch Galactus and Sentinel, along with my Marvel Universe Sentinel and Legends Fing Fang Foom are perfect Minimate scale, for me at least. Silver Surfer can stand on Galactus's hand. FFF can grab hold of Iron Man. Sentinels can obliterate X-men. It's good times The only one that seems off to me is the 14 inch Apocalypse; he seems a tad too big to be Minimate scale. Back on topic: somewhere around here, in a similar thread, I posted my thoughts on BAF Minimates. I think, I they do offer extra pieces, you should be able to make a third, possibly different tampo'd, army builder if you bought all 3 or 4 sets. Extra legs in one set, extra arms in another, and alternate heads and torso blocks in the army builder packs. That way, if you just buy the army builders, you have more options for face/chest (read: female) variation. If you buy a full set, you can make a third entire army builder. Maybe just do weapons in the variant pack.

I could take or leave the jet, but I think the ability to line up the non-jet ones with each other and on both sides of the jet one would be a good idea, for sales if nothing else Maybe in place of the jet, you could do a sunset, or flock of birds, or something less specific to the floating fortress. Maybe.

So, we are losing even the one-to-one ratio with series 4? That seems like good news from a survivor stand point, but it seems like we need more zombies as it is.... Will Alice and Lori come with the same zombie, like variants of each other? Or/and will these go the way of Marvel movie waves, with 2 each of the short packed characters and 8 total figures? Got my Select Movie Loki staff on Saturday. Will be anxiously waiting for my Marvel wave 48 Mr. Fantastic leg; quoted a few weeks by Amy at customer service.

I think Zach said the new ratio was one-to-one for human/zombie in the new waves. I figured they would show the humans at NYTF and could work out which zombies for later. The zombies shown with Glenn and Carol are set because wave 3 is not that far away. IMO

I got her to hold it at the end of the hilt. I think it is a little thicker there and stays better in her hand. It also makes it look better for throwing.

Nothing yet at my TRU. I was told the truck will be Tuesday and that they should be able to tell me late Monday if they'll be in or not.... Tampo'd. Awesome.

I was thinking a possibility for the Power Loader was to treat it like PB Iron Man. You get a Riply mate, but she comes with Power Loader pieces to add to her feet (giant boots), hands (giant pincher arms), crotch/torso (power loader cockpit). If they do massive sculpting on a 2" Queen, they should be about the same size that way. JMHO

So, I just posted this in the Invincible thread, but it really belongs here: Okay, maybe someone (Zach?) can answer a question for me. I know ToyFair is a retailer exclusive event where toy companies come out to display products that they have, or will have if interest is there, for sale. My understanding is that big-wigs from retail stores (Target, TRU, the Wal, etc.) are there. But who else is there? Who is DST's target audience at ToyFair? We see pictures of the items they offer, but outside of TRU and LCSes, I don't see DST products. Are there LCS representatives at ToyFair? Is there ever a chance that, if an LCS is there, that they could afford to swing an entire set of something? I am truly curious about this and don't mean anything against DST. I know they are constantly trying to get back into more big boxes, but is that all? Thought or ideas welcome. This stemmed from talk of how LCSes would love to carry Invincible mates and me wondering how the idea gets from ToyFair to Previews, more or less. And I love the designs of *almost* everything we've seen at ToyFair this year!

I find the Waling Dead compendiums easy to read, but very hard to hold.

I am surprised we aren't seeing any animals with the Tomb Raider line. The only game I every played with Lara had her fighting in rote locations against tigers, monkeys, gators maybe and more. I was hoping we would see a bear (Kuma recolored), a tiger or lion (could be used for Zabu), a gorilla maybe (Grood sculpt). Maybe in a follow up set.

Well, my Reed must have been flash-frozen by Doctor Doom again, because when I went to bend his knee, it broke. Contacted CS and they are hoping to have replacement parts sometime in the next month. On the plus side, I will finally be replacing Marvel Select Loki's broken staff.

I hope the facehugger piece is more like Morg's or Heihachi's hair piece, that attaches at the neck. It would make sense since they wrap their tails around the huggie's neck. Chestbuster could/should be done a la "Guts" Zombie. And as for sculpted parts, the only deal breaker for me would be the lack of an elongated head on the warriors. I think, if DST does not do a fully sculpted head or slip-cover mask, a "hair" piece similar to Frankenstein's Bride would be acceptable. Aliens!

I think we will see the Mark VIII armor, the Extremis Armor, assuming that is not the XLII shown. Pepper (hoping for Rescue though), Fing Fang Foom? As for the box set, I am thinking it will be modernized mate versions of at least three previous armors (similar to the TRU wave for IM2) and possibly more new armors; it is non-traditional, right? I cannot wait! And bring on a space armor so Tony can fight Xenomorphs!
