TBT!
Title says it all really. The Jewel of my collection is probably that I have a full set of MSG2 Kubricks... Including the insanely expensive chase figures. My personal favourites are the Sex Pistols Kubricks I own, mostly because the likenesses for Sid and Johnny are so spot on. I have a few other random Kubricks such as the GTA3 and Blair witch sets... The one thing that sit's on the borderline of must have but I keep putting off is the SAS truck that kubrick did... It just looks so damn cool! Sadly most Kubricks are to expensive to consider becoming a completist so I have resigned myself to be a dabbler. T. karamazov80
I've got a couple of Solid Snakes from the newest line (wish I had the one from MGS2), and I used to have the Halo ones before trading them to a board member here. I would really like to get the Muppets, some of the Aliens, and a couple of Star Wars figures (Han Solo and a Chewbacca, if they made one), but like TBT says, they tend to be a little too expensive for me. Even the more common ones seem to go for as much as Minimate variants.

I have a lot of Kubricks ....an awful lot of Kubricks. murderofcrows
I have a handful of kubricks. the only thing close to a real collection would be the matrix figures, I have the simple set (no key maker, or old dude) but all the rest. I have some of the batman, some of the robots, and some of the marvel... kurbricks are a fun hunt, as you never know what they will make, but the cost...good lord it is expensive still would trade my soul for a Jin Roh panzer cop kubrick moc847

maxcarnage
also more here I used to have almost the full set of neon genesis eva but i have traded most of those away. HOWEVER if you see something you like drop me a line and we can work out a deal. I used to be really into kubricks but when MM came around I dropped those really fast. If i see someone I like I might pick them up, but that rarely happens.
ARE-JAY
I only have the regular box set of Halo Kubrick's so far, still looking for the Variant box set with the black Master Chief- if anyone has an extra, I'd appreciate the help! While the Marvel ones do occasionally tempt me, I try to stay true to minimates =) They are pretty awesome figures though.
Shanester
Nice pic Maxcarnage. Send me the Gigantor figures and I won't take your soul!
Aaron
I picked up the first couple of waves of Marvel, but they I never really got into them much. I have picked up a couple here and there when I found them cheap. When Tower was getting rid of their toys, I bought one hoping for Hobgoblin, or more importantly, his glider. But instead I got the secret Black Spider-Ham (already in someone else's collection). Even with that great luck, they just don't do much for me. Plus after seeing walls and walls and walls of these in Japanese toy stores, I am relieved that I feel this way.
Daremo
Chalk me up as another dabbler, and not so much due to detail as much as the sheer number of licenses that they've gotten, as well as accessories! It seems nuts to me that Medicom could get all of the licenses that they hold while AA/DST has such a hard time, and decides to put out licenses like Desperately Seeking Susan. Yeah, Chuck sez that Madonna fans like 'em, but..... The accessories that a lot of them come with are awesome too, rivaled by the ones that Palisades put out with the Palz line. Nowhere else could I get block versions of The Rocketeer, Keaton's Movie Batman, The Matrix cast, Aliens, non-Lego Star Wars, etc, ad nauseum. How large of an operation is Medicom, compared to AA/DST anyways? Just seems incredible to me that their variety/output is so prolific yet so hard to find here in the States, and so darn expensive compared to the 'Mates... I heard that medicom can get all these awesome licenses because they are based in japan and mainly sell in japan, thereby not competing with American toys that bare the same licenses. and when they do come to America they are an "import" and only come to specialty shops. hypno
I snapped a quick photo of my Kubrick shelf, Ma K and Tron reside there now. I still need to find a spot somewhere for my Star Wars, Spawn, DC, and other Kubes.
Cappy
Hey now! Do those Tron Kubs come with lightcycles? I had no idea...
stone phillips
My favorite Kubrick lines would have to be Metal Gear, Maschinen Krieger, then Star Wars. However I collect anything Kubrick or Bearbrick. Although I rarely complete a whole set. I usually just buy a couple of blind boxes from each series, thus actually never completing a whole set. Anyway, from the looks of this thread, you guys have some reallyu good collections. Mine is still young, but Id like to post up some picture of my collection when I have the time
616commando
bearbricks for me. It's funny how we get stuck on minifigures.
karamazov80
I'm getting a little collection going for my newest obsession. I need to find some reasonably priced method of displaying them in a more orderly manner. And more importantly, I need that damn C-3PO! homestar17
I'd call myself a dabbler, except the only one I had any interest in is Bossk from Star Wars. Now that I've finally been able to own him, I'm done. I haven't seen any others that I feel the need to own. Jenny PS - Bossk rules!
karamazov80
Surely that Bossk isn't enough. Have you seen similarly ugly Star Wars characters like these: http://www.jedidefender.com/image.pl?http:...snagr_close.jpg http://www.jedidefender.com/image.pl?http:...ckbar_close.jpg http://www.jedidefender.com/image.pl?http:...guard_front.jpg I got these three in the mail today, and they are awesome. Buying one Kubrick is like eating one potato chip.

Buying one Kubrick is like eating one potato chip. OK, I forgot about Ackbar. "It's a trap!!" That's why I'd want him -- for his famous quote -- & there are no Lego minifigs of him as of yet. The first guy, Snaggletooth, was my brother's favorite figure growing up (aside from Max Rebo & his band).
pickle
Oh my goodness homestar17, this is like reading my own childhood. Snaggletooth was my top Star Wars character when I was a kid, along side the the Max Rebo Band. Very strange, very strange indeed. That is a great quote though, I say it quite often I am sad to say. "It's a trap!"
karamazov80
Well, if you guys have 200 bucks to spare, the Max Rebo minifigure band could be yours! http://www.jedidefender.com/kubmaxreboset.php http://cgi.ebay.com/Medicom-Kubrick-Star-W...Q2em118Q2el1247 Edited August 29, 2008 by karamazov80
