Twisted Two-Face Posted December 28, 2008 Share Posted December 28, 2008 Well, we've had a lot of "next wave" threads, and while those are all well and good, i think Marvel is overdoing the "theme" thing. In my opinion, themes should be left to box sets and kept out of waves, much like wave 23. So, without further ado, we have a "make-a-box-set" thread; basically, think up any box set featuring 4 to 5 Marvel characters (6 at the most!!) that revolve around a theme like FF, Ultimates, X-Factor, etc...Accessories are optional. There are probably too many characters to have just one box set - so maybe a villans box & a heroes box? Villains: Apocalypse, Holocaust, Sinister, Cyclops, Dark Beast. Heroes: Magneto, Weapon X, Rogue, Morph, Blink, Sabretooth & Wildchild, oh - and X-Man . . . and Jean . . . and Ninja Turtle Colossus. . . hmmm maybe we wont get a box-set of important AOA characters after all : ( A Shiar box would be awesome too (even if it's TOTALLY unlikely to happen) Lilandra, Deathbird, D'Ken & Gladiator. Oooh - And while we're at it, a StarJammers boxset. i would REALLY love heaps of X-men and X-villain sets: Mutant Liberation Front, Marauders, Excaliber, X-Force, X-Factor, Generation x, the Nasty Boys . . . As for Twisted Two-Face's thunderbolts set, for me I'd drop Penance and add unmasked (but comes with a mask) Green Goblin, then it would be a "must buy", the set would also have to have at least a couple (sub) machine guns, as seen being used in the secret invasion/thunderbolts cross over. However, it would require no less than 5 minimates each! *We still need a classic Scorpion, Lizard, Vulture, and Electro, but without Spidey it probably wouldn't see production.
