Shanester Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 Anyone seen the Marvel Handful of Heros packs out? They are tiny 1" solid plastic molded Marvel figures. Strangely, I love them. Each pack is a mix of different colors of Marvel characters. If anybody wants to trade, let me know what you have. I am after the different Hulk figures. Quote
karamazov80 Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 I have seen them, though the lack of articulation is a turn-off for me. I think Mattalica was talking about them somewhere. . . Quote
TBT! Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 They had tons at the TRU's near here, I was tempted but put off because they were in the spaces previously used for marvel mini's and thought that if I didn't buy them then we might get minimates back! T. p.s. Shane if you have spare IM ones let me know Quote
vbpanizzi Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I got a bunch of them from Wal-mart when they first came out. Funny since then I have not seen them again until recently when they showed up at TrU. The TrU have gold and silver versions, but I do not remember them being in the Wal-mart packs. Quote
NorthRaider Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Here's the other thread that discussed these: http://www.minimatemultiverse.com/index.php?showtopic=6832 I heard there was some guy on eBay who actually hand-painted a couple of these. Huh. Quote
Shanester Posted November 16, 2009 Author Posted November 16, 2009 They are kinda cool, but probably because of my age. I am old enough to have played in the dirt with "Army men" and Marx type figures. These are very similar. There are supposed to be 120 of them and some are harder to find than others. TBT, I have a MI Iron Man for you. Quote
groundhog7s Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Hey Shane, I'll take some inventory tonight if I can and send you a list of extras/wants. I wouldn't be buying these except for the fact they were $3 a pack at Wal-Mart and the fact that I seem to have no self-control. I keep thinking I'll give these to my kids for Christmas, but I'm still not sure if I will. Quote
Shanester Posted November 25, 2009 Author Posted November 25, 2009 I looked for these at Walmart last night. None to be found. I guess they are TRU only now. I still need that Gladiator Hulk. Quote
vbpanizzi Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I just found a restock at one of the local Wal-marts so they may be coming back. Quote
jcastick Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 If anyone has extras of Juggernaut, Hulkbuster Ironman, Rhino, Colossus or Mark I Ironman.... keep me in mind? Quote
drgnrbrn316 Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 So there's 40 characters in 3 colors each, right? I guess I shouldn't be surprised how many Wolverines and Spider-Men there were: http://therumorbuster.com/thegallery/album...s_checklist.jpg Quote
MiniFiend UK Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 EntertainmentEarth has a picture that shows 2 heroes not on that checklist http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo...umber=HMV93163B its the red and orange ones in the lower right hand side. I dont recognise them. Quote
thatblockoguy Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I just saw a Silver Surfer and a Spidey on a rooftop (I think) in a package at Walmart in Quebec. Quote
Shanester Posted January 23, 2011 Author Posted January 23, 2011 If anyone gets the newer waves and wants to trade, let me know. I am after the Hulks. Quote
MsMarvel fan Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I can't believe they still make these. which new sculpts are included in the new wave? Are there any packaging signifiers? Quote
Shanester Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 There are several new sculpts, some new characters. I especially enjoy them because there are several new Hulks. The packaging looks the same to me, but its easy to see most of what you are getting. Quote
Shanester Posted February 2, 2011 Author Posted February 2, 2011 Still no Black Cat. The choices for who does get made seem sometimes odd. Of course, there is Hulk, Spidey, & Wolverine, but there are about a half dozen variants of Hulk & Spidey, instead of some of the other heavy hitters like Fantastic Four, Gambit, Cyclops, etc. Quote
