In an effort to ward off the inevitable questions: 2012 won't be as bad as everyone thinks. (Of course I'll probably just skip that year nonetheless.) Asimov's Three Rules of Robotics aren't as helpful as we imagined. Thankfully the Giant Apes pulled us out of that jam. Martian Sand Worms make great pets. Jules Verne throws excellent parties.
