entertheninja!
Damn! This discussion won't die! It's about time one of my topics/forums things actually stayed. Anyway I did hear Muse's "The Resistance" and had my mind boggled! I would say that as of right now they are my favorite modern band; there up there with The Killers, Coldplay, and Weezer. A lot of Queen influenced music on there

super spider piggy
Nobody here's listened to Nuggets , the ultimate 60's rock collection? Yet some of you listen to *gasp* Post-Grunge?!?! As for my favorite band, i'd have to say Mars, a short lived No Wave band. karamazov80
hey Texas was good for somthing in the 90s' Tru dat. . .though Anselmo is a New Orleans native Picked up Queen's "A Night At the Opera" a couple days ago. I'm a huge Queen fan, but never got this specific album until now somehow. Surely their masterpiece. Also got the Replacements "Pleased to Meet Me." I had it on tape years back, but hadn't listened to it in ages. Great stuff from a great period in college/indie/alternative rock history. I'm a huge queen fan aswell, I've have all their 70's albums on vinyl, took me a while to track em all down, worth every penny, I love NATO, but Queen 1 and queen 2 are my top favorites!, so I recommend you listen to those and sheer heart attack that one is awesome! actually queen was the band that got me into music, before that I didn't listen to music that much, till I heard them. entertheninja!
If you like Foo Fighters you should check out Them Crooked Vultures, which has Grohl as drummer, John Paul Jones on guitar, and the dude from Queens of the Stone Age on vocals. I also reccomend to anyone Wolfmother...great throwback to classic rock.
