murderofcrows Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 for some reason, this just screams to be in Doctor Dooms castle. What do you think? Quote

winkerbean Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 is this some sort of random stand alone toy or part of a set?? Quote
God Magnus Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Definitely looks like some kind of Silver Age era world domination engine. That might look nice with my labcoat Lex Luthor as well. Quote
puddin Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Thats from the new G.I. Joe battle packs. Looks pretty sweet Quote
murderofcrows Posted February 18, 2008 Author Posted February 18, 2008 the best part is it is sold in a battle pack for gi joe and the scale is considerably smaller for the 3 3/4 inch figures so it should work perfectly for minimates!!!! Quote
Pete Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 p.s. I'm waiting for them to make sharks with frickin lazer guns on their heads then I'll be happy How's about sharks with jet packs instead? Quote
buttheadsmate Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 for some reason, this just screams to be in Doctor Dooms castle. What do you think? My girlfriend's got one similar & she just screams ... Quote
Cappy Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 That and the Mega Bloks King Arthur castle should outfit Doom quite niceley. GI Joe battle pack, you say? Out now, or a Toy Fair preview? Quote
bilbofett Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 This kind of reminds me of the giant freeze gun used in the Batman:animated series.(Sorry for adding another use for the gun.) Quote
MINI_MYTE Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Wasn't that machine a transporter from the cartoon series? Remember it was powered by 3 elements that were put in the glass jars on the front of the machine. If memory serves me correctly, it was powered by red crystals found in some artic cave, water from the deepest part of the ocean and sand from a meteor that landed in a "still active" volcano. Cobra had one and the Joes made one of their own. Quote
cesium salami Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Yep, that is it. It was in the first GI Joe series. I think it was the MASS device. Quote
Jatta Pake Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Bumping this thread as the MASS Device is coming out soon. http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=9&itemid=12989 It will be a "build-a-device" spread out over 5 boxsets and each set will include a DVD. I can't wait! I've resisted 25th Anniv. GI Joes until now, but this is a must buy!!! Post here if/when you find it in stores. Quote
HotstufflouieB Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 My girlfriend's got one similar & she just screams ... BWAHAHAHAHA Quote
karamazov80 Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 (edited) Post here if/when you find it in stores. Hasbrotoyshop.com says that it won't start shipping until late August. This doesn't mean that it won't be available before then, but I'm skeptical about "early" 25th Joe release dates. These figures are released in a really unpredictable fashion. groundhog7s Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 Yes, but hasbrotoyshop is waaaaaaay behind on shipping things out. I've preordered a few things from them and got them way after I saw them on the shelves. Quote
