Capt. Marvel is awesome, and despite the big-bodies i love the look of the hawks... also; Ma Hunkel... the fact that AA/DCD even MADE her is pure unmitigated awesome. Strange seeing as that's just the word he uses to transform from Billy to Captain Marvel. Wonder how that one slipped by? Legal issue, when was there last a comic book by DC with "Captain Marvel" as the title on the cover? Silly Marvel with their silly trademarks. Although, SHAZAM! is a lot more fun to say than Capt. Marvel so I think it really works out as far as merchendising goes. are there any problems in this wave? I don't have it yet. Not a huge problem, but a problem nonetheless. Amazing.JL Posted September 7, 2007 Share Posted September 7, 2007 These minimates are darn sweet. I still think MM's Guy Gardner is the best one I've seen. I very much like that they added the big chest to Kilowog. I'm good with Hawkman's big chest, but I'm not sure about Hawkgirls. Female mates look odd when compared to other regular chested mates. She is still cute though. The wings are fine on mine and I think it's about time we get them for minimates. I just love all the capes we are getting. Way back before DC bought Fawcet Comics, DC sued them over Captain Marvel's similarities to Superman. DC won, effectively killing the character and Fawcet. When DC aquired the rights to Fawcet's catalog of characters and tried to revive them, Marvel sued DC, leading to all of the Captain Marvel/SHAZAM! confusion. thatblockoguy Posted September 7, 2007 Share Posted September 7, 2007 Some pegs have grey paint on them while others are just white unpainted plastic. The painted ones seem to have a tighter fit when placed in the holes. Trying to postition them could result in twisting the plastic peg and it could snap.
