karamazov80 Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 (edited) Excellent homemade costumes guys. Mine had some of the store bought variety. The oldest was Wonder Woman and the youngest was Gonzo. This is them with a friend of ours and his son. Sophia lost her tiara, so she improvised a bit with what she had laying around. Molybdenum Man Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Mattallica - how did you make that HALO Armor? My 14 year old was impressed (and she does not impress easily!). I am of course easily impressed. That was awesome! Quote
Mattallica Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 (edited) Mattallica - how did you make that HALO Armor? My 14 year old was impressed (and she does not impress easily!). I am of course easily impressed. That was awesome! first of all thank you, and thank you to your daughter, i started out with a trip to the local good will store and scored a child size ski helmet, some soccer shin guards, and knee pads, i then built the rest from scratch with plastic from a cheap garbage bucket purchased at a dept. store. measure, draw, cut, and hot glue together, sand and paint, I know how hard it is to impress kids so im honored, my older boy liked this armor so much that he "Had" to have some of his own. i even added some lights and "cortana holo projecters" to them for fun.
