MINI_MYTE
awesome job MYTE! I have a question. Is the title/logo and such required? I have an awesome idea but don't want to ruin the whole picture by adding MS paint quality lettering because that's about how far my skills go with something like that. You can ask Luke to be sure, but I don't think the title / logo is a must for the contest. I just put mine in because the cover would have been rather plain without it. And besides I like the whole "breaking the fourth wall" with Bill smashing the hell out of the Thor and Marvel titles. This was one of my favorite covers growing up. Glad you guys like my minimated version.

luke314pi
what about movie covers? (asks the Ghostbuster guy) Comic covers only please - but there are lots of GB comic covers to choose from! I will keep a movie poster replication contest in mind for later. Bob Harris
I browsed through a lot of covers yesterday and got some ideas. I have to look into some details and I really like to include a custom. Anyway, it's fun already and I hope I'll find the time to work on it next week. To participate you have to live in the us? I live In Greece for example. And if you win then how are the prizes going to be sent to you? I mean will you have to give your adress and stuff to someone? Hi and welcome to the 'verse, BRB! I'm sure Luke will confirm my thought that you don't have to live in the US to participate. This forum galdy has members from all over the world. I'm from Germany for example and we have a lot UK based members here but also people from Australia or the Philippines. The nice folks who come up with a contest are nice enough to spend the money for the shipping fees to get the prices delivered where ever you are. Of course you have to tell someone - in this case Luke who runs this contest - your address. How else should the package arrive at your place? If you're not comfortable with sharing your address with some stranger on the internet, you are absolutely right. You shouldn't. It's your decission, but I can assure you that this guy is absolutely trustworthy. Once again, welcome to the 'verse, glad another continental European found the way! Oh,and how do you put the actual picture as not an atachment?like what minimyte did Like Mini_Myte said, you need a place where you can upload your pic. If you have the URL of that pic, juct click on "insert image", the little icon with the tree up there in the edit bar) and you're done. luke314pi
Welcome! Like Bob said, this contest is definitely open to international members.
AdyCarter
Aye, as a non US member myself I was always keen that everything is open to everyone, nothing more annoying than all these US only contests that litter the interwebs

youbastards
Luke, sorry if this is a redundant question, but if I take a picture of a Minimate, reduce the size, and then print it out, would that count as being digitally edited?
luke314pi
No that would not count as being digitally edited. That category allows for people to take pictures of things that are printed, even if those printed items were once manipulated on a computer.
