So I'm STILL "shopping around" for my second comic series to read after Watchmen. Call it the hopeless newbie strain or something, but I seriously am tempted to start out by dabbling in one of the more recent Marvel Universe crossovers. However I already know how House of M, Civil War, Secret Invasion and other recent ones end (and that would've taken the fun and excitement out of reading them in the first place) so I wanted to start out with a fresh new storyline like "the rest of the fandom." Judging by the weirdly vast scale of Dark Reign though, that probably isn't the best place for a newb to start (especially since I only really want to know what happens to Iron Man and ). Then I hear word about the new Secret Invasion: Inhumans one-shot, where , and I think I've found a winner. I'm considering following the upcoming War Of Kings storyline, starting with either that Inhumans one-shot or X-Men Kingbreaker. It's occured to me only recently that I'm actually anxious to know how things might pan out with Vulcan and the Starjammers, so I might as well follow War Of Kings since I sorta like the Inhumans as well. Anyways, I'm still open to suggestions. If anybody here has any good arguments as to why War Of Kings might be a supremely sucky crossover then I wouldn't mind hearing your arguments. Thoughts?

I haven't been keeping-up with current comics, but my "want-list" stands at: Black Widow (classic), Moon Knight, Black Panther, Hercules, Tigra, Adam Warlock, Black Knight, Scorpion, Electro, Lizard, Vulture, Kang, Mephisto (classic), all Inhumans, and a few more up-dates. More Villains are always welcome! If we get a few of these in the next few waves, I'll be content.

I would like to see Excalibur, first appearance X-Men (or, more preferably, the original X-Men team in their later, more distinctive outfits; like this), some 80s X-Men characters and designs, more Defenders (or just a Hellcat/Nighthawk 2-pack ), Alpha Flight, Inhumans. I'm surprised to see so much New Mutants love. Despite my disdain for Liefeld, I would probably prefer to get some characters with his designs over the original New Mutants, just because they would look a bit more interesting.

I would go for a Inhumans boxset and an 1st Appearance X-men set top of my lists.

I was thinking about boxed sets today, and how I've appreciated the team-themed sets: Classic Avengers, Invaders, Defenders. I want to see more of these... like Champions, Alpha Flight, Inhumans. I'm curious to see what the '09 boxes will bring.

I think the Inhumans used to live in a special part of the moon (same place that the X-Men fought for Jean Gray's life, I believe). Then I think they moved to the center of the earth or something. My main Minimates I would love are the Inhumans Royal Family, the Starjammers, The Heralds of Galactus, Guardians of the Galaxy(new & old),Union Jack, Spitfire, Captain Britain, and yes a Falcon definitely.

Falcon would be great! I'd like to see a Samuel Jackson Nick Fury as well, but I guess he'll be in the next Marvel Studios Movie wave. So, I'd start begging for the Inhumans! And a Hand ninja army builder.

i Absolutely love these waves, Give me a Inhumans Royal Family(Black Bolt, Medusa,Karnak, Gorgon, Triton, and Crystal especially done Kirby style) and i could die with my life being complete(or until i find some others i would die for like Heralds) I do have a question tho is deadpool gonna be like the pic they show or like his new costume, cause i am hoping for the pic shown don't care for the brown in his new one.

i would say series 5 cap now with invaders shield straps and belt, and my custom winter soldier, these will probably stay my faves until we finally get some Inhumans mates, i need me a Black Bolt, Medussa, Gorgon, Karnak, Triton, and Crystal

I wish they'd release an Illuminati boxed set and an Inhumans set. Illuminati: Black Bolt Mr. Fantastic ( give him new stretchy long legs and a stretchy torso. Make him the same version as the previous one so all the parts will be interchangeable) The Beyonder Professor X ( a new version, of course) Inhumans: Medusa Karnak Triton Gorgon and maybe add a 5th figure with Crystal

Since we're getting Gamora (while not classic), I'd love to see some Infinity Watch characters: Drax/ Moondragon, Adam Warlock/ Capt. Mar-vell. While on the cosmic-angle, Inhumans are still missing! My Avengers are still lacking: Hercules, Black Panther, Tigra, Black Knight, Moon Knight, and Black Widow (for starters!). Many villans: Kang, Zemo, etc... X-Men: (classic) Beast, Angel (I know we just got one, but he ain't classic), Gambit, Psylocke, Toad, (classic) Sabretooth, Blob, Pyro. I still love a "first-appearance" X-Men boxset. Spiderman: Kraven, Electro, Lizard, Vulture, Shocker, etc. We know Chuck's a Spidey fan...there's no reason why we don't have these yet. We're getting the Civil War Spidey from the cancelled Target wave, but I still want that beautiful Green Goblin (rem. mask ) we saw!

Note that he mentions Lock-jaw of the inhumans, a MARVEL character. Just note it. I did (not that I ever really had a doubt), but more importantly that they entertained the idea of Lockjaw enough to even mention him! While only words used as a comparison, it brings my personal dream of an Inhumans boxset a hair closer to reality. Bring-it DST; the success of the Defenders boxset (one of the best sets to date) proves that quasi-obscure teams can hold their own when handled correctly.
