Marvel Zombies

I finally ordered my set and it arrived today (with the displeasure of my mother). (why do you need so many of those things? you could be saving that money for other things!!!!) Blah Blah Blah. But.... on topic I really like this set. The Captain America is Very detailed and my Favorite of the set. Heck it was the main reason why I bought the set besides the Iron Spider. Nitro Looks good and so does the spidey. I understand why they did the original face then the slip over mask but it still annoys me. They did it since he unmasked but at least go back to how it was with Venom. Two heads! I know its cheaper to make the slip overs but I'll pay the extra dollar for the better look since the heads then seem so big. Now to Iron man. I wasn't a real big iron man fan until the civil war and I was on Caps side but Iron man just appealed to me. But Its a great thing without the armor on and it all scattered around him but with it on he looks more like a hulkbuster! lol. I know they wanted the robot look but at least give him new peices for the exclusive set. Maybe they needed to save money since the iron Man Movie mates have so many new peices. But over all hes still a great mate despite the size and face issues (everyone knows about the mask). At the end of the Day: 8/10

I think i've finally figured out my top wants! (Thanks to Mountain Dew and a marathon of Pirates of the Caribbean) -Hulkbuster Armor Iron Man( I mean come on. Were getting like every other one.) -Planet Hulk -Silver Savage -Red Skull -A NEW Dr. Doom (I missed out and he looked weird) -Mac Gargan Venom -Toxin -Any and all Ultimate Spiderman Characters/Costumes/Villians -Any and all Ultimates Characters/Costumes/ Villians -Adamantium Skeleton Wolverine -Six Arm Spider-man -Lizard -Kraven The Hunter -Electro -Shocker (And yes I mean the Character!) I think thats it for right now but I bet that there are tons others.

yeah I missed the first episode, but started at the second and loved it ever since. I've even gone out and bought the black spiderman wall hanger from the show. its actually a pretty decent toy, but thats being compaired to the very crappy spiderman movie figures, which i just hate with a passion.. Still nothing beats my minimates.

happy to have you back man. yeah it is hard to keep with our hobbies and family comes first, etc. Blah, blah, blah, lol. I've still always found ways to keep my hobbies and bills paid. I just had to get a second job so yeah. again good to have you back and hope it all goes well.

Great! another movie wave destined to bite the dust. The only good mate in this set is maybe th abomination and Thunderbolt ross. I'm not really complaining because it is really hard to find good mates off of the Hulk movie now. I mean come on, its the hulk and abomination and then an assload of civilians. Not like the Iron man wave which had three different iron man armors and the iron monger. Yeah thats easy to make a wave out of. But the Hulk movie was'nt going to be so easy. And why is it everytime I look at the "B.D." Hulk in the corner I feel like he has pooed his diaper that they threw in to make him look .0000001 cm taller! And here we go with the duck feet again. I hope they come with reagular feet because I will be instantly switching them out. Hulk may be just as tiny as the other mates but come on. Lets not turn him into the incredible quacker.

OMG! After Civil War, Classic Avengers, Movie Iron Man, Movie Hulk, and this new Through the Ages box set not only is my wallet going to feel alot lighter (to get all of the variants to display) but I think I'm going to need a new pair of boxers. LOL. God these sets are amazing!!!!! This is going to be one of the best years for Minimates I think i've seen.

I will definately be getting at least two if not three if the other Wasp looks good to. to hellpop, the main reason we buy more than one set is for custimibility (word?) and becasue I feel like i'm supporting minimates more. Plus if one of my friends happens to maybe want to start in on this plastic crack addiction to I can help him out ; )

I can see the argument for both sides pretty clearly. It is cool and adds to the playability of the mates to be able to have hulk wear spidey jamies but still. I would love to have a bigger giant man or Hulk just because in the comics these characters tower over the others. With that being said I would also love a smaller ant-man and wasp to but still a bigger one. It's all with preferance to a person's wants. I just keep looking at my abomination and sees him as being way over bulked and weird looking with all of those accessories to make him seem bigger. Just give him a 2.5" body and be done with it. but I guess that is up to what we have to customize.

Yeah. Thats it. I can't remember who was suppose to be with who but I just have a feeling that a thunderbolts set might be coming. It would have unmasked green goblin, Mac Gargan Venom, Baron Zemo and maybe a new bullseye.

As I was drivig home from class today, dreaming of my three box sets of Jack kirby mates. It dawned on me. the only figure that is needed to get out from the target wave is the Unmasked Green goblin figure. then that brought me thinking about the Civil war set (which I'm ordering this weekend), and the fact that there will be a exclusive at SDCC. Well Green goblin is in Thunderbolts. Maybe the exclusive will be a thunderbolts box set. ????

I started looking through my collection of minimates and then went to my comic boxes and was wondering what exactly would be considered the holy grail for some peoples collections. I know that this is mainly for minimates but I was also wondering what would be the grail for others collections. What do you need to get to make them feel somwhat complete? Or have you finally gotten that one peice? Just let us know if you already have it so maybe if some people want to help others they can pm them and help these individuals get these peices. Mine are: Minimates: Symbiote Spiderman; Silver Centurion/ Original Iron man two-pack Comics: Ultimate Spiderman #1 (Its at my comic shop but can't seem to get the money to buy it. It's $50 and I seem to always come up short after gas.)

... or maybe the Big Sneak Peak is going to be letting us finally see the stinking Incredible Hulk movie mates. I just have a feeling that it is going to be that, but i'm hoping for more. Maybe there going to announce a marvel legends type thing with the build a figure sets. LOL. that would be cool but would probably get annoying for most people who don't buy full sets. they would make the great figures the build-a-figures and then would most likely help out all of minimates because people would buy that one set they were debating on just to get a piece. LOL.

I just noticed that there hasn't been a wolverine or spiderman figure in a wave since wave 17 and 18 (Spiderman) and 14 for wolverine. Maybe they are going to listen to all of the people complaining about those two flagship characters being made all the time. I personally think they just need to make a spiderman and wolverine box set (spiderman being one of my all time favorite characters). Put the adamantium skeleton variant for wolverine, a cosmic spiderman, spider-ham, a nwe symbiote spiderman and maybe a few others.

Freakin' sweet!!!! I am so excited, as my wallet isn't, for august to come around. Just hope they don't take a spiderman 3 mates turn down the road. I am sick of having a date semi set and then having a year go by after that date without MY FREAKING MARVEL MINIMATES!!!! LOL. Ok i'm done hulking out.

Man I might need to seriously rethink how my set up is. Great pics by the way. You have to two mates I want the most. LOL. Still can't get my hands on my Favorite Comic hero ever, the darn Symbiote Spiderman. But at least the other is more reachable with it being the Galactus. After seeing the hilarious comics that some members have been making I thought I might try it out for the heck of it. Mine may not be as good or as plentiful but I will be posting more from time to time. Funny comics: DC Mates vs. Marvel Mates Sad Day MY actual comic: Issue 1

I'm mainly a marvel fan and I honestly really feel for the DC minimates fans out there. Their line is almost positively dieing in their arms. I know that if Marvel mates would die also I would Freak, but I would have more money. I am firstly a marvel fan and secondly a minimate fan and will say that I am going to miss the DC line mainly because I want a Doomsday (Me being a semi superman and flash fan, but stopped reading the comics). that and with the 2.5 mates I was slowly getting closer to marvel maybe making 2.5 inch hulk, apoclaypse, abomination, venom, etc. But that just makes me feel shelfish.
