I think maybe a mix of classic GOTG with current GOTG would've been nice like maybe a Yondu/ Star Lord. since they were both the leaders.

I am sometimes pissed that film counterparts get made into mini's before their comic versions. In the style of the DOFP comic set or the Winter Soldier Comic and Film waves. I want to see if you guys would be down for just comic counterparts being released around the same time or a good while after their film doppelgänger.

At first I was pretty pissed about how they did Rocket Raccoon, but after looking at some closer pics, I'm really excited! That might be the only pack of this series I pick up! Unless Nebula looks like a BAMF!

Based on what Nessex said in his previous comment, I think a Deadpool/Doop two pack would be cool. Doop could be done in the style f Slimer and DP's accessories would be a dog pool, squirrel pool. 2 katanas, two pistols, and an assault rifle. Heck! Let's make it a whole X-Force wave! Kidding! Kidding!

We don't even need to put this into one character perspectives. Observe: Iron Man/ Iron Monger Hulk/ Abomination Black Knight/ AIM Soldier Black Knight (Garret)/ AIM Soldier. Call that the Avengers wave I guess. The Black Knight should come with a jacket piece to recreate his look in the 90's.

I voted for Thanos, Cap, Hulk, and Ronan. Ronan: The more Kree the better. Thanos: The original looks too wimpy. Cap: I really liked his Space Suit design. Hulk: I didn't want another Iron Man. Sadly, I do now wish I had voted for Iron Man. That away I could've had a full GOTG set up withbis Space Suit. *STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!*

To all my fellow Minimate collectors. My condolences. You have no longer the ability to hunt for mini mates in the fashion i do. I recognize that TRU has begun to stop with the minimate craze and that leaves many people in the dirt. Lucky for me though(and maybe many others), I have located four other retailers that carry mini mates around my area. If anyone lives in the Chicagoland area(Namely Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Mt. Prospect), Look forth to Dreamland Comics, Quake Collectibles, Keith's Komix, and Comix Revolution. I was able to score the Deadpool's Assemble set at Dreamland yesterday. I hope this helps!

Planet of the Apes mini mates is something I've thought of for a while. Ever since my dad introduced me to the film when I was eight, I have always had a strange desire to own my own little Planet of the Apes. Having Roddy McDowell in an form of 'mate is fine by me! i would even appreciate his character from Poseidon Adventure! Anyway, i have tried to come up with waves for the films but think that the Thundercats route would be more except able. Having a box set per movie with a few exclusive two packs here and there. Hope this helps!

I just got back from my time out and only scored the Deadpool's Assemble set and Thunderstrike/Kronan Stone Man. I did also find a nice motorbike comparable with Minimates and Masters of the Universe Snake Castle for my displays. I had a pretty good day!

the Sakaaran's are the grunts who come in with Korath in the opening of both trailers, while the lighting makes it hard to tell their color, id assume they're closer to the minimates since Lego is known for some wacky color errors and bold choices that dont always match the source material I completely agree with the color errors statement. My biggest grip is definitely how they made Drax grey. I don't think I even want to pick up that set anyways. I think for my GOTG toy merchandise, I am sticking with the minimates. I'd say I want Ronan and Nebula the most.

All of my TRU exclusives are perfect. I'd say the only problem I have is a minuscule dark spot on the "Flashback" Spidey's torso other than that, perfect!

I just got the figures today and I can say, no problems with them at all! I love them all, they look great, I have a lot if fun playing with them! I have to say that the Green Goblin might be my favorite of the set. Although the Alistair Smythe was kind of pointless, I really do like the figure especially his alt. look. If I made any changes, it would be that the, "Flashback" Spidey from the TRU wave was switched with a Harry Osborne or an entire other pack for TRU with hooded electro and Harry. Actually I had one set of waves per film, TRU/Specialty. I just only listed the specialty as an example of my initial thought. I also had a box set per wave ie: Ghostbusters. I even added a vehicles series!!

If you want Star Wars minimates, I started a thread where we have laid down a few possibilities for Star Wars waves and box sets, If that makes you feel any better.

I think that a better alternative for this box set would be Bossk IG-88 4-LOM Zuckuss I think having Boba with his nemesis, Han, would be better

I think it would be great if we got some nice movie figures, but what I want to see is a comic DOFP box set! It would be very simple: DOFP Wolverine Updated Bishop Kitty Pryde And throw in a sentinel to even things out!
