  1. That's a beautiful little thing. I wish I could give it a hug.
  2. I meant not classic Annihilation Wave like everyone seems to be pinning for. Bendis what was in my mind, though. F***ing Bendis.
  3. Disney doesn't like Indiana Jones because of Nazis. Yet they persist in plastering the Empire and Darth Vader all over their parks. Seriously, Stormtroopers have become more synonymous with Disney than Mickey Mouse.
  4. Ya, comic Guardians make the most sense to me. ...but I wouldn't be surprised if it was modern comic Guardians.
  5. - Dust covered Indy with tan gloves - Cairo Indy - Egyptian disguise Indy There's plenty of variation with Indiana Jones. Plus, who wouldn't want to army build generic soldiers?? They'd fit right in as civilian soldiers as well, similar to the Ultimate SHIELD Agents we got a few years ago.
  6. I would love for it to be Operation: Galactic Storm (there's so many great figures to be made), but I can't see it fitting in Zach's clues... Easy. Any mix between Quasar, Lilandra, Crystal, Gladiator, Sersi. Hercules fits the last 10 years description. That Champions set was released in 2009. 90s style Black Knight I can see as the other re-do done more recently. But who would the other two "highly requested" re-dos be? I can't see a Galactic Storm assortment without Captain America (it is essentially a Captain America story) and he definitely isn't due for a redo. Who else is a highly requested re-do? Vision? I've certainly heard cries for a classic Vision, but not the pale, unfeeling Vision present in this story. I haven't seen a lot of outcry for Wonder Man and he's the only guy after Vision I could fathom being a highly requested re-do. I would love to have an assortment based off of Operation: Galactic Storm, but I just don't see it fitting in with the clues. Especially without a Captain America.
  7. I agree that he was super cool, but I don't think he made up for the rest of the film's issues. I, personally, walked into the theater expecting him to be as cool as he was. I mean, the dude's whole gimmick is that he makes visual effects for movies. I would've been concerned if he wasn't cool.
  8. When did we get a first Sersi???
  9. I'm curious as to what people think of this flick. Personally, I'm frustrated I had to sit there and watch Peter Parker go through the same character arc again. I thought it was neat to see Mysterio. He really warrants himself well to motion pictures, seeing that he's a special effects wizard.
  10. That's been the convention standard for a few years now I believe.
  11. Agreed. I need a classic Wonder Woman, preferably in a Bulletproof Bracelets, crossed arms pose.
  12. I'd love to see some more waves like the Giant Size X-Men wave with figures based off of a specific artist's style. That said, a wave based off the original Phoenix story with more characters based off of Cockrum's designs would be greatly appreciated as a sort of sequel to the GSX wave.
  13. The problem with the Skellington body is that it’s simply too tall! Impy doesn’t reach the height that the Pumpkin King does.
  14. In my never ending quest to secure more Minimates based off of the World's Greatest Comic Magazine, I've began to wonder... Is the Impossible Man simply too outlandish of a design to be turned into a minimate? Taking into consideration of course his height and lanky figure and not to mention his gorgeously pinned head. Are there elements that have been already introduced that could help point towards a figure of Impy?
  15. I think it'd be neat! Not necessarily sustainable as a line past a movie-based box set, but exciting nonetheless.
  16. Ah you're right... I had thought the two companies merged, but they were just rumors I had heard.
  17. I mapped out the rest of the series in my head. I felt compelled to share. I opted for a Ghostbusters-like treatment in which there's a standard series with an accompanying box set depicting a specific moment or scene from the given film. Also, I feel that the deluxe sets may be a bit much, but nothing's impossible.

  19. I think Masters of the Universe Minimates would be immensely well received. However, that would require some sort of special license with Hasbro... which could also open doors to Star Wars and Indiana Jones.
  20. I think roleplaying games would be neat! I'm not into them, but I can see the minimate function working very very well. Consumers can buy multiple figures and accessories to build their own characters from the game at hand. At least I think that's how they work.
  21. If Godfather Minimates couldn't get off the ground, I doubt that Goodfellas would do much better.
  22. Good stuff YouBastards! I like the idea of Deluxe sets similar to Hasbro's. Here's what I came up with for Raiders: Wave 1: Indiana Jones (tan gloves, dusty) / Nazi Mechanic Marion Ravenwood (Nightgown) / Major Toht Rene Belloq (Panama hat) / Nazi Soldier Rene Belloq (Ceremonial robes) / Nazi Soldier Wave 2: Marion Ravenwood (Cairo blouse) / Monkey Man Sallah / The Ark of the Covenant Indiana Jones (Cairo) / Cairo Swordsman Indiana Jones (White Robes) / Cairo Swordsman “Jungle Escape” Box Set “Ravenwood Bar” Box Set Indiana Jones (Dirty) Indiana Jones (clean, no satchel) Satipo Marion Ravenwood (Nepal) Rene Belloq (Pith hat) Nepalese Thug Jock Nepalese Thug (Pat Roach) Army Dump 3x Nazi Soldier 3x Hovitos Tribesman 3x Cairo Thug 2x Indiana Jones in Nazi Disguise 1x Colonel Dietrich
  23. After it was mentioned in the infamous "End is Nigh" thread, I'm curious as to how we would all like for Indiana Jones Minimates to be made? Go forth and discuss.
  24. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Minimates don't need likeness rights. At least that's what I'm remembering about the discussions had on the Alien(s(3(:Resurrection))) forum. That's why DST was still able to go ahead making Ripley Minimates, but without the specific "OK" from Weaver herself, considering her disdain for toys with violent connotations. This is because they're block figures and therefore caricatures rather than an actual representation of the real thing.
