  1. Hellboy/BPRD is at the top of my want list as far as licenses go.
  2. I think this is a good idea. TMNT sold really well here. I can see there's a kid market that Minimates don't usually attract. Tap that market. These may not appeal to some long time collectors, but it's probably worth it. In going any animated mates are in a recognizable animated style, like TMNT.
  3. As posted in the C2E2 thread: ...new series based on Marvel Comics and animation... Thinking TRU20 is animation based now.
  4. I'm always surprised at regional differences. A1 flew off the shelves here. TMNT is the only thing that had sold out faster. GotG sold well and quickly here too.
  5. I stopped in a TRU yesterday and thought the same thing. There's tons of AoU product on shelves. It'd be nice if DST's product was there too. However, if they do hit when they're supposed to, I imagine the 'mates will fly off the shelves. I am more mystified by Hasbro's decision to continue making movie action figures in, like, five different scales.
  6. I don't really collect anything outside of Minimates, but that Hawkeye is a great looking toy. I might have to pick that up.
  7. Yeah, I think Spiderverse would be a great wave. The Bride of Ultron would be great for 2015: Ultron Jocasta Wasp Black Panther Iron Man Ant Man (with some new innovations to make him large and a mini Ant man accessory)
  8. Sweet. As long as it's not blind bags, I'm happy.Trying to think of a content change that could be pretty exciting, and I'm struggling. Vs packs are cool, but common. Same goes for alternate/secret identity looks. If this is coming while the AoU license is still active, I could almost see Cap, IM, and Thor comic versions paired with movie versions. Kind of an evolution of line up, but that seems like a long shot.
  9. This is terrifying. I really hate blind bags.
  10. I snagged this set yesterday, and wish I had picked up a second set. Bloodshot is very cool and comes with plenty. The extra torso and arms really sell the set. X-O looks cool. The tampo came out really well on him, and they really needed to. I'm not sure why DST nixed his sword, but that was a mistake. I'm also not sure why DST opted to show off his sword in the mini comic. Seems weird to pinup something not available. Having him in hand, in actually fine with the tempo helmet, for the reasons Kostis pointed out. At any rate, I'm stoked to see more comic mates, especially ones so well done. This set isn't perfect, but aside from that conspicuously absent sword, it's pretty close.
  11. Accessing from android device? If so, it's because of the YouTube video. Nothing to worry about.
  12. I'd like it to be Thanos on his floating space chair. Capt. Marvel and Black Panther are cool, and I hope they are both on Steve's new Avengers team, but Thanos is the only character that I think would really carry his own single pack. Maybe an Iron Man or Cap variation, but I would prefer Thanos.

    TRU 19

It's not perfect, but I've been using the Asteroid M Magneto hairpiece for my old Quicksilver (with an Invaders Namor head. The Quicksilver head on Namor makes a nice Defenders version).
  14. I've run across these at TRU. Although I'm not aML collector, this is cool looking wave. Thor is amazingly massive.
  15. Very cool. Two things I love. Like Ninja Mate said, this isn't a very bad deal at all. Rogue is a high end beer. I've paid more for some of their rarer, seasonal offerings.

    TRU 19

The local TRU systems that I've seen look just like TRU.com.

    TRU 19

Excellent! I was hoping they would go well together.
  18. Everything you hear? Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock is amazing at every turn, so I can only imagine you haven't heard about that. Fish Mooney is mesmerizing. She takes on such a life of her own, I keep forgetting Jada Smith is playing her. You must not heard about that either. There have been low points (I'm looking at you, Barbara), but overall the show delivers. It's not groundbreaking, it's not superhero-y, but it's good. There's also a lot of value in watching something and forming your own opinion rather than letting other people do that for you.
