Mez-its Aliens... IMO they work really well with minimates, the queen is a bit of a let down though as she's just the same size as the Aliens... T.

Those are usually referred to as paint master Prototypes. Hand painted ( A large number of them by the talented and sadly departed Eddie Wires.) As far as I know 3 of each were usually made, 1 for the factory, 1 for AA/DST offices and 1 for the archives. I have been lucky in that I have perhaps a dozen of them, including wave 5 Capt America. As for how many made it to to collectors, if the stories are true, very few, for starters they'e pretty fragile as the paint will flake or chip. I've also heard stories that range from Chuck was very worried about marvel hearing about unapproved stuff in the wild or that someone once took a bunch of them and pissed him off but it seems DST have been very strict on what has been let loose in the wild. I guess at some point people will talk value, I don't think they're worth much but are a nice rarity or trinket to own. T.

Wow you guys make it all sounds so grown up and complicated... I have a level 50 Siren and have... erm stuff... I don't think I could name any of the gear I have & I dont think I have anything you mention above either! Having said that I just started the newest d/l content and am really frustrated by the level 54 witch doctors... esp when I cant level up and wipe them out more easily! Perhaps I do need to get a plan like you guys after all. T.

I need to find time to play through the latest expansion for Borderlands... But the videogame thing I'm most happy about.... GOG just re-released System Shock 2... in a version that runs on modern systems without an epic amount of faffing around! System Shock 2 is probably IMO one of the most immersive scary brilliant video games ever created. I'd recommend anyone who can get over the very old (1999) graphics and interface give it a try... trust me if you stick with it you'll be drawn in. T.

Yes I want to see that pic... I also am thinking I'll try and pick up a power loader at some point, so someone showing pix of one ( or many with minimates inside would be good.) I do have to say that I'm a little disappointed that the biggest new minimate license that was 'revealed at TF' didn't have any pictures leak... T.

The mass produced customs are a tricky one. Id say no they're not needed for a complete collection or all youd need to include all customs. However some have a very blurry line, the bomb mates were approved by aa and they even supplied the minimates... but of course om biased T.

They Don't... Zach had to do some fancy footwork to put together the 10th anniversary exhibit they have. As for a complete collection... nothing is impossible, loose is more likely than MIB but there are a lot of oddities/rarities out there. I'm not even sure we have a definitive list that is the complete collection. T.

Add me to the list of folks who'd love to see something happen with the space 1999 license. I had Dinky Toys diecast metal Eagle that like others I'd run around the house whoooosing about. Such a great spaceship design esp with the modular cargo bay! I remember the show as being slightly confusing and odd, but that could have been that I was all of perhaps 5 yrs old when the show was initially aired. I also think that other Gerry Anderson Properties, mostly Thunderbirds and Capt Scarlet would make great minimates. perhaps as one off box sets or figures packaged with minimate vechicles. T.
