When I went to my Disney Store a week or so ago, they said if something was scheduled for the 11th they'd have it today because they get stuff on Wednesday. Edit- Stopped by this morning and no minimates. On the plus side they had some New Marvel Legends and Universe product. I wonder if the ship date slipped or if these are sitting on the shelf at some obscure retailer no one has thought to check. Perhaps Tractor Supply Company got some Farmer Brown minimates.

This new line was shown at Toy Fair and I was kind of interested. Yesterday I saw them at retail. They are blind boxed, and they are $2.99 each. I didn't realize exactly how tiny they were going to be! Minuscule! It's just crazy that they want three bucks for what amounts to a gumball machine toy.

I think it's kind of fun that we don't know yet, especially with today being the ship date. How cool would it be to come upon some minimates on the shelf that you didn't even know about? It's been a long time since I've been surprised like that.

I just looked at eBay and amazon and it looks like they are all available. The two exclusive 2 packs are available on ebay and amazon. And both promos are on ebay. Did I miss anything? So, given the funds I could've put together a set in about 10 minutes.

I hope people do know that in Canada we do have Police officers wearing normal uniforms. 99% of the time a Mounty is in the Mountains or for show. We just have plane jane police officers here. There, is that better? But I get it. I'm Cajun, from Louisiana and I now live in Texas, so of course I was born in the middle of a swamp, took a boat to school and ride a horse to work every day. And sound just like Gambit. Cher.

Picked up a third Sue set for the Moloid. What to do with a third Sue? Complete the team while waiting for the Thing to get back from his intergalactic wrestling stint. I have to say I've been seeing a lot more quality control issues in the last few releases than I've seen in quite a while. Maybe it's just my luck lately but I got two left suit arms with Reed, messy paint on two different Sues and a broken knee joint on one Sue, stuck paint at the elbows on almost all this FF wave; and then all those too big wrist pegs and the fastball special hand peg not fitting the foot holes in the X-men Outback wave. Not complaining - well, maybe a little what with prices going up - but I figure if no one mentions this stuff Zach won't know about it.

It's inventory time in the world of retail. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
