From the pic it looks like they lock together, one being male the other female. So you'd need to find at least one other figure to "mate" (no pun intended) the bases to each other

I picked up the police set today. With all the extra gear and a few spare parts I was able to make two regular cops and two riot gear cops. Four mates for the price of two... Not bad.

Machine Man. My first stab at an all original face decal. The chest is a modified version I got from Luke's site. I just realized I forgot his belt! Kang was FA Doom, an Atlantian Guard, a Sentinel helmet and gloves and a little paint.

I still have a bit of touch up work to do but here he is Giantman. I sacrificed my 3 inch Gorn to make him but, I think it was worth it. I created the chest and mask (over the face of one of Luke's SHIELD agents)decals in Photoshop. I must have screwed my math up because the face decal came out a little narrow but I think it still works. The rest is hand painted...

I'm actually looking forward to this. I've made peace with all the Spidey variants.

I have high hopes for the AFX set. I don't think they've let us down yet. Even if I wasn't interested in AoA it's still pretty cool. I think we my be plesantly surprised. I really hope it isn't zombies... Or another X set.

Had they based this set on the old X-Men v Vamps story from way back when, with a proper "Tomb of Dracula" Drac I would get this set in a minute...

Yep... I read a while back that they wanted to make it PG so they can get kids into the theaters. Brad Pitt isn't going to do a movie thats only going to appeal to horror fans.

There are tons of possibilities for sequels for World War Z. There was no reason to totally rewrite the story... Wait, I take that back. I should have said write a completely new story and slap the World War Z title on it. The novel has how many individual stories? Twenty? Thirty? How many stories are in the back of The Zombie Survival Guide that could have been used? At least another four or five? There are enough stories between those two books to do several movies. This is a simple case of ego. The book didn't have a big hero character for Brad Pitt to play or a romantic interest for him, so they wrote a new story that did. No tension is lost over the war being over. You know the war is over after reading the first page or two. WWZ isnt about how the war was won. It is about how individuals survived their particular experiences in it. How the war is won is just one small part of it. I spoke with Max Brooks at NYCC last year and he told me he has no involvment in the film... Not a good sign. I'm not saying the movie will suck. Although a Nerf ball zombie movie with a PG rating does not sound like my cup of tea. It just wont be World War Z. I do agree that Zombie Mates sales should enjoy a little kick in the pants from the film though.

You can try the old nail polish trick. Paint the posts with clear nail polish to increase their size.

Honestly Minimates are the only reason I go to NYCC these days. Diggin' the Spidey and Zombie mates. Ill get the zombie set just for the chainsaw. Hopefully I can score a Stormbreaker set while I'm there.

oh, me too no doubt I'll go and see this... jury is still out though War Zone was a great movie. I don't know why it was panned. Punisher v Jigsaw... bullets... explosions... sick humor, and hot as f*** Julie Benz... What's not to like? I'll see GR, because I'm a fan but it really hope they surprise me with a good movie.

Dont get me wrong I think you did a great job. Lord knows details that small are really hard to do. I thought you were going for post Pimslapped because the flash on her left prevented me from seeing the detail on that side.
