  1. Just wanted to point out that poll-choice CapWolf is making another comic appearance in the new Longshot mini-series. He's even on the cover.
  2. Awesome job, YB. I'll take your challenge, Zach - assuming I have time this weekend...
  3. Hey, look over here. Is that the official announcement? http://marvel.com/news/story/21121/exclusive_first_look_age_of_ultron_minimates
  4. Like I said, I'd be happy with the "Star Wars" body for every line if that's their intention (like Minimates, or Kubricks, etc.) And I'd love to see their version of the Dukes of Hazzard, if only for nostalgia for the Dukes figures I had when I was a kid. Oh, the good old days where Bo and Luke would team up with GI Joe to stop Cobra...
  5. It's a toss-up - my inclination is all figures keep the "Star Wars" design for consistency. But if the point is to make these the "missing figures" from the movie, then yes, the articulations needs to match the time frame. Artistic intention beats consistency.
  6. I've got fond memories of the Fisher-Price Adventure People, so I've been eyeing these Aliens figures with some interest. And that's a hell of a list of future licenses. I'd be all over the Universal Monsters.
  7. The latest showcase for custom toys has been announced, running Dec. 9th over at the Fwoosh. The deadline for submitting an entry Friday, November 29, 2013. More details at this link right here.
  8. Ka-Zar / Disco Dazzler Howard the Duck / Man-Thing Machine Man / Dire Wraith Deathlok / Dire Wraith
  9. Hail Ivan, on this, your traditional day of birth. Long may your life continue.
  10. Enter - the Red Target! After its economy collapsed, the town of Obsidian became good for just one thing - becoming the home for every gangster and cutthroat in the state. No one was safe from their lawless rampage. Many innocents were left victimized or dead. Then one man said enough and struck back - and the Red Target was born! His face and history unknown even to this day, the Red Target waged a one-man war against crime in Obsidian. Striking from the shadows, he surprised the criminals in their hideouts and gambling dens with brutal, efficient raids. He preferred to leave them alive to answer to the law, but did not hesitate to use his gun when left with no choice. He wore the target as a message. He would often tell the criminals he captured that they should have left innocent people alone. That they should have gone after him instead. He wore the target to taunt them. A man walking around with a bulls-eye on his chest, taking them down one by one - and they never stopped him.
  11. You'll be missed around here, but you're doing a good thing. Don't forget that. Take care of your family and yourself.
  12. I'm holding out hope for Angela Lansbury. Think of the musical numbers the Doctor could perform...
  13. Curious to see what direction they'll go - a more serious, older doctor like Eccleston, or a friendly, young doctor like Smith.
