A nice gesture from DST . Good for you Dan. Which one is it Dan, SDCC or New York?

I have just invested in a CD-ROM which ,hopefully, will enable me to build a Lego custom Minimate Viper. I know diddly- squat about sourcing the parts required but I guess somebody here will. I am unsure yet whether this will be initially Minimate-scale but if it isn't ,I, again, will need help in scale -correction . My aim is to produce a couple for myself & for other interested parties. Anybody up for this? Who's the Lego Daddy here? Whilst I'm on the subject surely someone here with Lego skills could convert a C3 Batwing or Mini-flyer into a Cylon Raider?

All this time & I just never knew ....not a clue ...not an inkling . I'd like to thank everybody for not 'spoiling' my enjoyment of being able to watch the entire series without knowing what was coming. A stunning series which I'd happily watch again.

Classic GI......Sgt.Rock was perhaps the most underated 'mate yet & was nigh on perfect with regards to detail. I'll reserve comment until I see them in the flesh but ...oh dear ...shame about the helmets.

The more I think of this wave the more I like it especially ...Falcon.

Apparently if you pour a large glass of Lime soda ( Must be lime not lemon or even generic citrus) into your keyboard then run round the cpu 4 times singing " the cow kicked nelly in the belly in the barn" on the second tuesday of any month that starts with a letter not used in any other month then a link to a site for download of just such a tool will appear in your browser. Hey K , I remember the time when you didn't really like kubricks

These arrived today & I have done my best to dislike them but they are absolutely gorgeous & they came out of the plastic ....anybody (is there anybody?) that reads my posts knows what that means to me Technical : The 'hands' are not similar to Minimates they are exactly the same. The feet & legs are ball-jointed 360 ,well to be accurate they are on some of them ,others are very stiff or seized. The heads rotate as does the waist but they have no elbow or knee joints. The paint & finish is as good as anything I've seen on 'mates or kubricks. Some of the parts may well interchange but you can try that with your own set As I said I genuinely didn't want another line to collect but these are cute....very cute.

Now that we know Thor isn't included in this box-set it's probably the right time to get hold of Series 16 which includes Thor & their first foe Loki . Thor seems somewhat elusive/expensive on ebay though Cornerstore apparently still have it http://www.cornerstorecomics.com/

More X-Men ?? I wonder which ones No Thor with Avengers #1 I suppose they'll announce a Beatles Minimate box-set next entitled The Fab Three ......minus John Lennon. The most irritating thing for me is the 'passing of the buck' regarding the Dr.Who Minimate/Underground Toys License. Now I know that Dr.Who isn't everybody's 'cup of tea' but c'mon they would sell like 'hot cakes' so there has to be another agenda here which is beginning to stink. I am not suggesting that DST is the problem but surely someone at DST could perhaps give Underground a call & politely ask what's going on & put a few fans out of their misery. I KNOW what's going on because I ASKED the senior Underground representative the question at SDCC . Unfortunately any information (about anything actually ) I obtained from SDCC is either denied or debunked & frankly I've just given up bothering to relay it.

I'm probably older than your dad & he ain't cheap because you'll only get the one & he's priceless. SDCC ain't a cheap deal but definitely a worthwhile experience & trust me it is not a 'fiscal decision' to go to SDCC & 'get the deals'...don't bother its a Muggs game(pun intended). NYCC?.... I have never been to it but I'm told it's fun & I'm sure you'll find the booths.
