I just picked up my Winter Soldiers from Luke (It's nice being only 9 miles away!) and it looks like the Winter Soldier had another injury: Unfortunately there isn't an arm in there when I opened him. I'll have to hit up customer service for a replacement part.

If I was Disney/Marvel, I would want to distance myself as much as possible from the debacle that is the FF reboot. It's going to damage the FF brand for a whole new generation. As for X-Men, I'm sure it takes a back seat because they don't have "soup to nuts" control over the brand and thus exposes risk to it. I'm sure if Disney/Marvel had the X-Men movie rights we'd have already seen a new X-Men animated series by now. I think it's funny that it's rumored that Fox won't even listen to offers from Disney to buy back the movie rights. I guess having Disney over a barrel on that issue is "priceless" in their minds.

Oh man I want them all! I was kind of hoping Gamora's hair would be sculpted since it's two toned but alas it's rooted.

Does anyone else have any of the Marvel 3D Lights? I got the Iron Man Head and hand in my office, I love them!! My son got Thor's hammer as a birthday present and I put it above his bed. I got two sets of rechargeable batteries for them so I've got my IM lights going pretty much 24/7 since they look so cool when they are on.

I love the new designs too and I was hoping they might be part of an SDCC box set so once Zach said it's wasn't current I decided to take a whack at them. I actually used a garden label stake and the hilt of a sword in my extra parts bin. I'm thinking of either Xface Cyke or Tempus next. I'd also like to make an alternate face for Magik with white eyes and black markings around the eyes. Like this:

I cannot believe that monstrosity made over a billion dollars, no wonder they green lit what looks like an even bigger monstrosity in TF4.

I thought I'd take a stab at my first minimate custom and attempted Magik with her new look. I still have some touch ups to do but it is coming along.

Right, patience is key. It also gets easier the more do, it used to take my a couple minutes to correctly "feel up" a bag but now it usually only takes a few seconds to see who it is.

I'm bummed it's not Marvel actually. It would be a way to get more characters in a year and to draw in more people into the line.

I know and thought it was funny, it just reminded me of that Batman scene also.

I love these obscure connecting of dots, it always reminds of that classic scene in the Adam West Batman movie when they "figure out" it was the Joker, Penguin, Catwoman and Riddler. Love it!A shark was pulling my leg: the Joker! It was fishy what happened to that boat, where there's a fish there's a penguin! It happened at sea, C is for Catwoman! It all boils down to a sinister riddle.....er. The Riddler!

I missed Thanos the last time so I'm really hoping that he finishes in the top 4. He can join Antman, Ultron, Strucker, Vision, Gamora, Falcon, Winter Soldier, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver on my MCU lineup on top of my monitor as placeholders until their true MCU counterparts are made

Iron Patriot is in da house! He looks great in hand and the Cheadle sculpt is perfect in my opinion.

Yeah, it must be a layer thing because all the regions that should be black are "blank", meaning they are white since that's the base color of the parts. Also noticed that Hank seems to be missing something on his feet parts, there is jagged raised portions but are colored the same as the rest of the foot. Is the top supposed to be black?

I actually like blind bags, between codes or feel method you can usually figure out which ones are which. If it got mates into more big retailers all the better. They often are a way to slip in an obscure character here in there as a short pack.
