Got mine today and just wanted to say THANK YOU to Shane for the minimate and Zach for making them happen! He will be accessorized - one blank to rule them all!

Well, my TRU usually stocks pretty well for most minimates, including the WD exclusives. But they've only put out 1 case of wave 5 and that was well over a month ago, maybe closer to 2. I'm fortunate a friend found them and got us both a complete set. The straggler dupes in the case lasted maybe a day longer. I'm sure they will show again, but there seems to be a BIG lull in the minimate section now.

Pre-ordered my 3 sets today! Looking forward to them!

I think minimate mousers packed with these would be cool. I've been getting some of the Lego TMNT sets minus the figures for cheap on ebay just to have some nice pieces to display the minimates with.

I love minimates because they taste great AND they're less filling!

If the book is currently a popular title, then this really seems like a smart wave to get into COMIC shops to attract new buyers. My preference is classic, but I'm all for new designs to keep the line alive. And they really do look great, even though I'm not familiar with the source material.

Never read the current series past the first issue. Just no time anymore. But I really like those designs! I'll always prefer classic stuff over most new stuff, but sometimes its nice to be introduced to a new design solely through a fantastic toyline that I collect.

Well, he did show up with a new look in Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. , which is such a gimmicky, kid-targeted, cartoon which for some reason has no merchandise tie-in.

I love the Cap-cicle from the Captain America thru the ages set. The mussed hair, dazed look, torn uniform and pulled back mask piece all topped off with a block of ice to put him in.

I'm not too thrilled about losing a pack, but I DO like the apparent trend lately of TRU carrying over a troop builder. (Black Ninja, Hydra, GotG & ASM2 ...)

I wouldn't want Gal Blader or Ape N Dix to fight by my side cause they always get taken out first.

So I noticed this morning tru.com now has Thundercats Ho, Invincible and Walking Dead Prison Outbreak 4-packs in stock on their site, all at 19.99. Just thought those were odd additions.
