Crazy, I wonder if I overlooked the two or if someone just wanted some Rick Packs
-
So I found these yesterday and I think it was a full case, but if so the breakdown is really odd (to me) There were 10 sets in all, 4 of the Hitchhiker/Michonne set and 2 each of the other three sets. Is this the normal case breakdown?

Congrats guys!

Glad everything got safely to you! It was a complete coincidence that I got your name and I kinda figured you'd recognize the return address (plus I'm horrible at giving clues ) -

I'd assume Splinter is on the list of more characters coming. As for why we need two krang droids and a foot krang, well first off there's around 3 different krang droid looks (Human in business suit, Droid, blue Droid) For all we know, one of them could even be a battle damaged droid. and the foot krang is a completely different character/army builder all together -
I'd love to be able to get the Blue Thunder helicopter again. I remember getting it for X-Mas one year, my parents and me were out shopping and there was a pile of these next to an end cap being clearanced out at Ames. I thought the helicopter was so cool, I was really excited for a second when my parents grabbed two of them and dropped them in the cart.....then they told me they were for two of my cousins. I was fairly mad till I opened it up on x-mas and realised they lied about one of the copters The prices have since skyrocketed on ebay and that's typically for a broken one (apparently the plastic is pretty brittle nowdays)

Toy companies make changes to molds lots of times. It's called "retooling" I imagine it's cheaper then making a new mold, but still more expensive than just reusing an unaltered mold. However, in the case of the Rattlesnake tail, you probably couldn't retool the mold since the rattle is already larger than the tail (typically retooling a mold will mean carving out part of the mold, which would make a larger piece of plastic on the toy)

I just ran across this today: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=GG10652&mode=retail&utm_source=retail_news&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=BigBadToyStore-Retail&utm_content= Gentle Giant's site says the figures in Series 1 are 2 5/16" tall so I imagine these are the same height. The fence wouldn't be perfectly to scale or anything, but might look good in a display

I haven't made it, but I originally had plans for Beast using spare Angel and Avengers Hulk hands & feet. Just have to paint them a skin tone

I'm not sure they had anything shown at Toyfair. I saw pictures of Plants vs Zombies (that I believe were above the TMNT display) and in a few pictures it looks like you can see the basic 6" TMNT figures. If that's the case, I assume they just had them to show off the design the minimates would be emulating Nevermind, looking at other pictures, I think I was seeing the bust banks, not 6" playmates Turtles I'm excited for this line and will probably be buying every single figure -
Looking at pics of last year's toy fair, I don't see any of the TRU Walking Dead or Tomb Raider mates shown in the displays

I've got a Samsung WB150F I picked up at Target on an after x-mas clearance. My best suggestion when shopping for a camera is to take an action figure with you to test the camera out on. As for light box I've got one of those Photostudio in a bag sets. Been using it for years now.

Star Trek - Reincarnated from the Genesis Planet!

Every area is different when it comes to what sells best. In my area Janeway is gone, the other three are still sitting there with varying amounts. I want to say Sisko is the most abundant but I could be wrong (I haven't counted) As much as I don't really like it, I think they probably need to stick to the mix they have for waves. I'd love nothing more than for each wave to focus on a certain show, but you run the risk of what happened with Star Wars lines (Vintage Phantom Menace) in that you hit that one show that most people don't care about and now you have a whole wave not selling much. At least with the mix assortment, you may have one show's pack sell really well in one area and another sells just as well somewhere else. -
Super7 x Funko ReAction Retro figures
Shogi replied to youbastards's topic in Other Toys & Collectables
Along with the neck difference from old Kenner figures, I think one of the biggest issues with many of these figures (for me at least) is the generic, smooth torsos. Both Butch and Mal look like they have no wrinkles at all in their shirts, just makes the figures look cheap and lazy to me. At least the Jason figure and Rocketeer still look decent enough to me (Though I'd probably buy the worst Rocketeer 3 3/4" figure just to have a Rocketeer figure ) -
....I didn't even notice that the bird is wearing a Robin Outfit! I think that set just jumped up to #1 want
