Those claws look awesome. I didn't think you could make things that thin with shape ways. The shoulder armor/cannon would be great too.

I don't think those have been eliminated as possibilities yet. As long as Freddy,Jason, and Michael Meyers aren't based on how they look in the remakes I would be happy with having them as minimates.

Too bad that part of the Marvel Universe is somewhat neglected. I'm glad to finally have an official Morbius minimate though. A Nightstalkers box set would be awesome.

Here is a good looking mask. The eyes do vary a bit from one mask to another. Also note that there is a spot by the right eye where their laser aiming sight is on all predator masks.

The eyes look a bit off, but it is a good start. By the way, I'm the one that requested the Predator helmet to you last week on shapeways. I never even knew you were a member here lol.

Today's haul

I bought my first set of Battlebeast minimates last week. I think they are pretty cool, except the joints were all stuck due to the paint. I was afraid I was going to break the arms and legs while trying to bend them at the joints. That didn't stop me from bidding on an auction for the four sets from wave one on Ebay. I ended up winning them for a whopping $18.98 shipped. I can't wait to check them all out.

For a second Alien box set you could have three crew members and a version of the big chap where he is down on all fours so we could then have a crawling version of him since that is what he is seen doing most of the time in the movie. Man that was quite the run on sentence.

I read a few of the GFT TPB's last night. I actually enjoyed some of the stories I read. Some of the outfits the women wear are skimpy, but no worse than Psylocke or Emma Frost's costumes. I think I only read one where there was some sort of sexual activity going on, but there was absolutely no nudity in any of the books. What's that old saying again?? Oh yeah, don't judge a book by its cover. Compare it to comics like Fathom, Lady Death, Darkchylde, or Witchblade. GFT reminds me a lot of those types of comics where the female is a big breasted scantily clad woman. The artwork in a few of the stories is pretty dang good too (not just the women).

Make it happen. If not I will have to make a new custom since this one is pretty outdated.

I wish it was Predator, but I'm leaning towards A Nightmare Before Christmas. I noticed a lot of ANBC merchandise showing up lately. I liked the movie, but wouldn't be interested in minimates except for a Jack Skellington for my son since he loved the movie.

I'm going to have to check out the GFT comics once and see what all the negativity is about. I mean it's no different than an R rated movie or M rated game right? If you aren't interested, that's fine, but it obviously has a fan base. It's not like it is Hentai or anything like that.

I just thought of the gold Ultron Drones after I posted this. I will check the prices for them on Ebay. I have used gold citadel paint in the past and it looks pretty good, I just hate having to paint 3/4 of a minimate body. It's much easier if I can just find some gold ones. *Edit* That gold Vorin would work great, but I'm sure he isn't cheap to get.

I'm wondering if anyone could make a Blaine from Predator (Jesse Ventura) decal. I made one years ago but am not happy with it. I suck at trying to get the likeness of a person. Also an Arnold one would be awesome too. I have a few of him from the Terminator mates, but I don't think they would look right. On a totally separate note, has anyone seen the minimate customs on ebay being sold by tonystark? I swear that a lot of those decals that he uses are taken from customizers on here. Anyone care to fill me in on whats up with him?

Other than the obvious gold Spiderman? I need a bunch of them for some customs I want to work on. There have to be some out there, but I'm drawing a blank. I need at least 5 and they have to be gold from at least the waist up. Oh yeah, they have to be easy to acquire and cheap too.

I'm always tempted to buy some of the Predator and Alien ones, but they remind me too much of McFarlane figures. Those things looked cool, but seemed to break way too easily. I loved my Queen Alien I had. One day she tipped over and her arm snapped off. It's not like she fell off a shelf or anything either. She literally tipped over onto her side and broke. I stopped collecting McFarlane figures after that.

CBMM1 is correct in what I was trying to say. I will be getting one case of these as it is, plus buying extras from my lcs. Now would be the perfect time to get the Predator license since a new Predator movie was announced last week!

So what are the chances of getting the Predator license Zach? I would by numerous cases of this Aliens wave so they could battle each other.
