  1. To be fair, that's why they came before us
  2. Yeah... DC's cinematic universe is a different creature from Marvel's, and with the feel of the movie, I'm actually digging the designs. I am NOT so fond of Will Smith, but Leto and Robbie stand a good chance of making the movie.
  3. Happy birthday! May this year bring you (and your nation) prosperity!
  4. I want to win, don't get me wrong, but if I don't, I want the postcard to win. Fantastic!
  5. Can he have his own column called The Crank Case? Lol
  6. For Mystery Man's testicles? I'll say what they'd always say in Wizard/Toyfare... there's always the possibility SOMEONE will pay good money
  7. Everything you just said (except the parts about the people I don't know) I'd have made an all girl cast (if that had to be a thing) from Aisha Tyler, Tina Fey, Sara Ramirez, Aubrey Plaza, and featuring Annie Potts
  8. I beg to differ... THIS is a Rarity among online toy collector forums
  9. I disagree, but it's clear that we each have our opinion.
  10. Exactly. Art as metaphor for life. It's not supposed to be the exact same thing, just a reflection of the reality to shine the light on those in the wrong.
  11. That way lies madness. And disappointment. Stay detached. I'm worried about the other three films. Their trailers, leaked or official got me hopeful for them and now I worry they will fall flat upon arrival.
  12. Hey, Politician... Superman = good, right? People with anti-Superman propaganda signs = bad and shortsighted, right? Do you see how MAYBE the idea was to use this as an allegory, where the people with the hateful vile signs in the movie - who everyone KNOWS are in the wrong - represent the people with the hateful vile signs in the real world? I'd understand if they were anti-Luthor signs. Luthor is the bad guy, so you'd be on the same side as the sign holders. But this is the equivalent of the X-Men fighting the Friends of Humanity. The FoH were used to parallel real life hate groups while making the target of their hate fictional characters who readers were routing for. Kind of like this,no?
  13. I agree with all of the above from undeadpool. I hadn't noticed the neck snap - if that's for real, that's bothersome. Dancing guy is running in,sees the other dude get owned, and turns to run away I think
  14. It was a fairly esoteric Gone Girl reference. If you're not familiar, watch it.
  15. I have ZERO expectations for this movie. I want to watch it and be pleasantly surprised, like with the last two
  16. THAT'S WHAT I WAS THINKING! It's like we're getting Red Son Batman!
  17. Mutagen Donnie is at TRU right now I thought Hear, hear! Three cheers for Steve!
  18. Bingo. Exactly. The teaser had me worried it was going to be two hours of Affleck growling at Cavill and fast cuts. This looks... NEAT. As for SS... I'm pleasantly surprised by Leto's Joker. I think this'll be another new direction. Jack's was a murderer with a sense of showmanship, Heath's was a complete sociopath - chaos incarnate, and I think Jared's will be a sadistic thug one penny short of a roll. I'd argue that Jack + Jared = Mark's take, bouncing from controlled burn to raging inferno. He never had much of Heath's total wildcard in him, though.
  19. Wow. Did we see different trailers? I'm VERY interested in BOTH of these movies. Really? I assumed that if there was a Robin who the Joker had killed, it was Jason. Also, I'll add that this Batman looks the most Batmanish of all movie Batmans. He appears to actually be doing Batman things in Batman places. I'll never understand the love for Christian Bale/Chris Nolan's Snake Eyes movies.
  20. I heard a rumor this would come with an alt Udon head. I'm not holding out too much hope, but if it does? I may need it. Confirmed.
  21. BWAHAHAHAHA... welcome back, GH
