I feel you 100% on that one =) I am a marvel fanatic, and have been going through serious withdrawls (haha) with no new marvel mates. dc has been a big time filler for me. they have more custom pieces as of now, and just keep coming out! I remember seeing wave three originally slated for july (?) and I believe I got them in march (again, "?") I remember it being quite a bit before the release dates. I don't remember who said it a while back, but they mentioned having to go and learn the history of the dc characters made into mates haha, and I have been catching myself doing the same!

I know EXACTLY what you mean! I joined last october, way after the bombermates were made from what I understand. having a bombermate wouldn't mean anything to me, because it's a token of something amazing I wasn't around for, does that make sense? that being said, given I disappeared for several months due to some personal issues I was having, but I plan to be back here for good from now on haha, and if there were a mmmv mate I would cherish mine for always =) monetary worth means nothing to me, I am the most sentimental fool you will ever meet

I was just about to say that, almost word for word =) I like the look of the new mates. (haven't seen them at any LCS's yet) that spidey is breathtaking, my favorite of this line. the wolverine, though bulky, still looks golden. colonel america looks sexy too =] the others are good too.

I check the topics I have recently posted in, and look in the marvel section every now and again to check for any new updates/release dates. what I should be checking is "contests", so I don't miss out on any others =( lol

I don't have too big a problem with the eyes. and I like the painted-on ones better. and I got an ultimate spiderman head you can have oh yeah, these mates are absolutely stunning. can't wait to pick up lots of them.

I am =) POWERPUFF GIRLS SEASON ONE The Show: most of everyone knows who the ppg are and where they came from. but here is some back story for those who don't: professor utonium was trying to create the perfect little girl, but while stirring the cauldren they were apparently being created in, he accidently broke a beaker, and added CHEMICAL X by mistake. thus, the powerpuff girls were born! now they fight crime and such. OK! now that that's all taken care of, here's my input. the ppg was a show I enjoyed when I was younger, and the past few years I haven't been able to watch it anymore, due to cartoon network removing it from their regular schedule. so when the dvd hit stores, I HAD to pick it up. and upon watching it, I found that it was still great! the episodes are as classic as ever, each episode (in the first season) boasting a new villian. and I was pleasantly suprised to find the jokes I got when I was a kid were still there. that being said, I have noticed alot of new stuff too, such as the occasional joke directed right towards adults (for example: in one episode, professor is going on a date and the girls are helping him get ready. they are naming the stuff he needs to do to get ready as well as things he needs to bring along (wallet, breath spray, etc). well at one point it shows buttercup slip an unseen object into the professor's coat pocket and she says "don't forget to bring some of these!" which I believe to be... well, you get it) another thing i've noticed is the strong blood/violence present in the show. it's all in good fun though, and wrapped in a cute little package. The DVD: it appears they remastered the entire thing. two discs, awesome packaging, great price. The Extras: I was very pleased with the special features. it included all of their "what a cartoon show" appearances, which is something I was REALLY hoping they would. they also included the original concept cartoon for ppg entitled "the whoop ass girls", in which the professor accidentally knocks a can of whoop ass into the concoction. it was pretty great Overall (not an average): :) :) Recommendation: if you are a fan of the show, and/or buying the set even briefly crossed your mind, I strongly recommend you to pick it up, target has it for only $20

I am sooooo glad other people voted for the new mutants =) it was a truly solid comic, and I would love to have a boxset to remember them. lol a warlock mate would be especially sweet =] I do want a mastermind though. and a drax. and a nighthawk. but not so much any of the others in the sets.
