Is anyone still looking for the latest wave? I just found a whole set the other day. It's probably still there if anyone wants it.

After seeing that comparison shot...I think I like the original better. Does the classic Dr. Strange look have yellow or gold?

I would not be interested in these at all. I do see kids read a ton of these books at libraries though so maybe there is a market for these things.

I haven't had any issues tracking down the TRU exclusives from Wave 1 or Wave 2 and I bought multiples to help out other people. I will agree that the TRU.com online system sucks though. Those TRU exclusives sell out super fast! Are the scalpers eating them up or are there just not that many available to begin with.

I have one full set of these left for anyone that is still looking,

I'll be getting at least the regular Lara. Not sure of the others yet. I'll have to see them in person or see some tray shots before I decide if I really need them.

My TRU has gone through 3 cases now (but I've bought 4 sets to help people out on here). I'm not a fan of these but it does seem like they're selling very well. I still have 2 sets left if anyone is having trouble.

I just grabbed another complete set of TRU Wave 1 if anyone is still having trouble finding these.

In no particular order: Banshee, Falcon, and Doc Samson. I would love a Forge and Speedball too though.

Looks like the loincloth idea isn't going to work based off of that control art. The tail attaches to the wings piece but the wing piece wraps around the neck and waist so that loin cloth piece from other Minimates won't fit right. Sauron does looks pretty cool though.

Are these out now? I haven't seen them yet at the local comic shop.

I really like the new Thing. The darker Things are good for a modern version (and reminds me of the old Marvel Legends Thing I used to have). The newest one reminds of the old Marvel Superheroes one from the early 90's and the one from the animated series from the mid 90's.

I'm all set on a return to AoA or Fear Itself. I didn't buy any of those at all. This set looks amazing though and I'll definitely be picking one up!

The original Battle Beasts came out in the mid-'80s. These are not based on the original Battle Beasts. At all. They're based on an original comic series published by IDW. Hope that positively affects your appreciation of them. So are the original toys and this comic series completely different? Like not even related at all or was the comic based off of the toys?

I just realized that these were based off the Battle Beasts toys from the 80's/90's (not exactly sure when the originals came out). I had a few but I never knew what they were called, haha. With that said, I'm not a fan of these Minimates. I think they strayed too far from the originals (they don't really look uniform enough to me) and the lack of bright colors makes them kinda bland to me. They appear to be selling very well though so that's good.

WWE already has mini figures (Rumblers) but I would LOVE to see them get some Minimates. How about 3 current 2-packs and 1 classic 2-pack every wave?

I picked up an entire TRU set if anyone needs these. They were next to the Walking Dead and Street Fighter vs. Tekken Minimates.

They look ok I guess. They're all passes for me but hopefully this brings some new fans into the Minimates line.
