  1. Not for nothing, but a RE Howard Through the Ages-esque boxset with a Conan, Kull, Bran Mak Morn, and Cormac Mac Art would be pretty rad. It'd probably be just for me though. If you can't tell, I've been on a Howard Sword and Sorcery tear of late.
  2. Talk about a rough vote. I went with Typhoid Mary because she's probably the best, most toyetic villain that still needs to be made for DD. However, I wouldn't begrudge anyone voting for The Owl, Gladiator, or DD's first arch nemesis The Jester.
  3. I am here for Deathlok! There can be no other vote. Although, in a pinch, I'd totally be okay with Machine Man. I mean, someone's gotta fight all them Marvel Zombies, right?
  4. I tossed an Overdrive together a bit ago. I used a black ninja clan chestpiece (From The Wolverine line), a motorcycle helmet (From the Crazy 88 pack), and some black appendages. Totally sells the look. I'd take a picture and show you, but I'm mid move and that is an impossibility right now.
  5. Hellpop gets it. The correct answer for this poll is Jackal and the Mark 2. How else am I supposed to reenact the Clone Saga without Prof Warren himself?
  6. I found these in the suburbs of LA yesterday. They are amazing and I love them. If DST is going to pull mates from movies, this is the kind of movie I want them to pull from; one with great visuals, lots of colors, and memorable looks. Less Dark Tower blandness and more Beetlejuice wackiness!
  7. Like Luke, I want an Eternity and a Living Tribunal, but definitely not in a minimate scale. They need to be imposing and awesome; something that really encapsulates what they represent. Instead, I went with elder of the universe and the former holder of the Power Gem: The Champion of the Universe. Give him a a couple of pairs of boxing gloves and then I can finally recreate my favorite scenes from Marvel Two-in-One Annual #7. It is, in case you were wondering, the right choice in this poll. That or Death because Thanos really needs a ladyfriend. Great poll, Elhonez!
  8. Man, rough poll; Lots of great choices. As much as I want to see... well, all of them, I ended up voting for Arcade. Maybe not the most major villain, but after his big push over the past few years, I just need him in my life. My second choice would have been Black Tom 'cause my Juggernaut is lonely. Great stuff elhonez!
  9. Sometimes I get this urge to make something and I just can't stop myself. Yesterday was one of those days. I made a minimate scale Pool Table. Hope you dig it!
  10. Well boo. At least I knocked off some low hanging fruit. Who wants a Stryfe anyway... I mean besides me and my X-Force shelf.
  11. Here's some crazy guesses for them clues: Cable / Stryfe Venom / Kraven Hulk (Possibly TAH) / Bulked up Abomination They're characters that could anchor a wave (Venom) or in movies (Cable and Hulk) with a highly requested new character in a classic-esque costume that hasn't changed much (Stryfe) and a highly requested remake (Abomination). What do y'all think?
  12. Hold on, why are more people voting for Dragon Man over the freaking Wizard? Sure Dragon Man is neat, but he's not a founding member of the Frightful Four, member of the Inteligencia, and all around awesome villain like THE WIZARD. Voting for Uatu, I can totally understand even if I don't agree. But come on guys, PRIORITIES!
  13. I found two things on twitter: https://twitter.com/AiPTcomics/status/916467480159285249 and https://twitter.com/AiPTcomics/status/916467398542266368 Looks like we're getting at least a Captain Marvel, Zemo, Iron Patriot Hulkbuster, and a Red Hulk among others (I hope).
  14. A Wild guess appear! Spider-Peter with The Vulture Spider-Miles with Kraven The Hunter Black Panther with Zemo Captain Marvel with some hulkbuster nonsense.
  15. For a show about super-powered people fighting ninjas who are immortal because of the dragon bone marrow they inject, the show sure seemed wary to embrace it's comic book roots. You know what would have made for a fantastic storyline? The Kingpin, fresh from his stint in prison, is trying to rebuild his empire but bigger and stronger this time with the help of a politician (Black Mariah), a real estate magnate (one of the mecham's), a representative of The Hand (Madame Gao), and a mysterious new benefactor that seems to have her hands in everything (Sigourney Weaver). Then, as the power structures in the underworld begins to change, the heroes of those areas start to notice and join together to fight back. Meanwhile you can still have Weaver's Black Sun storyline running, but now she's betraying villains we know (so now I care about it) and suddenly it becomes a three-way fight where say, The Kingpin and Daredevil are forced to put their differences aside for the moment and fight a greater, dragon marrow addicted enemy. Plus, it would deemphasize Iron Fist as the central character of The Defenders and put that weight on to Daredevil's shoulder's where it belongs. Anyway, those are my thoughts. Also also, RE: Minimates, if any of you are in the So-Cal area, I found all the available Netflix minimate sets (minus the SDCC exclusive) at Frank and Sons for FIVE bucks a piece. Get'em while they're still available!
  16. Nah man. I was thinking standard issue new FF. And by that I mean, if I had my druthers, it would be the team as they appear in issue 348: So like a sweet new Mr. Fixit, new Civilian Wolverine, and... well standard versions of the other two. But still, this would be the preferred line up. Maybe with a Skrull or a Ms. Thing Sharon Ventura as a build-a-fig. But, we all know that's a pipe dream of a pipe dream. Really, really for economic reasons, the lineup should be more like the Proto-Secret Defenders from issue 374: Updated Prof Hulk, Fun Berserker Yellow Wolverine, and the same two standards as the above example. Only this way, the BAF could be an Astral Dr. Strange (to play up the Secret Defenders thing) OR Lyja (which would be preferred). Either lineup, I'm down. Not my first choice, but if we were going to get the FF again, this would be a fun wave to pick up.
  17. I think the logical choice would be to have a 90s Fantastic Four versus the New Fantastic Four wave. Vested Mr. Fantastic / Spider-Man "Mom no!" Invisible Woman / Hulk Bulked up scarred face Thing / Wolverine Jacketed-yet-sill-on-fire Human Torch / Ghost Rider At least, that's how I would do it.
  18. FYI, I was at Michaels the other day and found some fun stuff for some spooky setups. Check it out: Those tombstones are SUPER cheap at five bucks for a pack of five (Here's a link) and are perfect for midnight minimate strolls through the graveyard, like the forgotten Ghost Rider Alejandra Jones is enjoying. Also, less successfully, is the cool rod iron fence in the background that Doc Manhattan is hopping. The scale is a little too small for my tastes, but it totally works as Background or foreground fodder to make a setup really sing. There's a ton of other stuff too, but these are the ones that really got me excited. Oh, also also, that Alejandra is a kitbash of the Champions Black Widow, the OG Ghost Rider head, the shoulder guard from the Walgreens Green Goblin, and Curse of the Mutants Dracula's gauntlet. It's fun, you should make one too!
  19. Question for the room now that we've had all these reveals: Which wave should be considered the 100th wave of Marvel Minimates? Wave 75 or TRU 25? Or should it be 26/76 because 15 never came out? OR OR are we still 25 waves off? These are the things that keep me awake on a Saturday night.
  20. I love the whole wave, even if it means me destroying my great Jack o'Lantern custom. Also, now we need a Boomerang stat so I can finish off my superior sinister six. All these new comic waves remind me why I collect these tiny little monsters. Here's hoping we see more waves like this and less movie waves in the future.
  21. For a wave of mostly redos, I'm super stoked for it. That Purple Man alone is gangbusters, not to mention that fantastic Ghost Rider. And for what it's worth, I'm totally in for that Moon Knight. In those panels you showed, kostis, his armor looks more sleek than bulky and ultimately a big chest piece would spoil the essence of the figure. Not that it matters all that much for me, cause I'm gonna kitbash an OG Moonie as soon as I get ahold of that new cape. Two questions: 1- Was there anything else on display? 2- When is the panel?
  22. Here's an insane guess: Infamous Iron Man / The Maker Venom / ANAD Spider-Man Robo Dum Dum Dugan / Man-Thing with Hit Monkey (for a little S.T.A.K.E. Action) Admittedly totally nutso ideas, but something I could see happening.
  23. God, I would love to see a Boomerang mini. Preferably in his Thunderbolts/Superior Foes get up than the original, but I'll take whatever. However, I feel like it's the the darkest of dark horses. My money's on the mystery spider-villain being the Jackal and he's probably with either a new Scarlet Spider (which would be cool) or a 90s Kaine (Which would be rad, but as much a dark horse as Boomerang). Can't wait for next week.
  24. I love this game! What if it's something like: Cho Hulk / The Unworthy Odinson 80s Black Widow / 80s Cap (aka the USAgent) Kate Bishop Hawkeye / Madame Masque Iron Doom / The Maker It's a funky line up, but, I dunno, maybe it works. That said, I'd totally love if "Legacy Avenger" meant we finally got a version of Genis-Vell either in his long hair, jacket phase or his cleaned up space-face look, but I feel like that won't ever be the case.
  25. Heads up, I just found these in Los Angeles (specifically the Los Feliz TRU). Also, for the record, they are fantastic; even the ones I didn't want to pick up. I'm gonna have a hell of a time finding a Silver Samurai, but I'm almost okay with it because of how cool Mojo and Spiral are. DST should do more comic waves, they really knock them out of the park.
