I don't understand how critical people are of a project that they've seen no footage for. The concept is interesting enough that I'll reserve judgement but I would rent it if I saw the box art and/or read a synopsis. It's finished filming, they had some interesting people involved, and because it's Digger's project he's included Minimates as part of the incentives to invest. I went for the 'Minimates 8 for 88' but I want to know which 2 are missing from that so I can get all 10...although without some serious promotion I doubt they'll reach their goal.

Good for Digger! Great to see he's still invested in Minimates as a brand while continuing his other artistic pursuits. My only criticism of the Kickstarter page is that there are too many rewards - if it was limited to 7 or 8 options it would be easier to navigate. EDIT - Just sent a question to the Kickstarter page if they would consider offering a 'Minimates-only' reward. The show itself seems pretty cool and I'd definitely support it if I could snag all of the Minimates they're offering. EDIT #2 - I'm an idiot - I just saw that you can get all 10 for $258 and 8 of the 10 for $88...

I started working on mine at the same time as my Battle Beast custom so I've made some good progress. Should only be another 3-4 hours of work so I'll have mine in before the deadline.

That is a beautiful custom! Is the helmet a mod or did you sculpt it? It looks amazing.

Apologies for the thread necro but I just wanted to say how much I love the 'Random' button over at the database. Sometimes when I'm supposed to be working I'll wander over and just click it for half an hour or so. It kills my productivity but satiates my desire for Minimate goodness! Hail Ivan!

If you're still looking for helmets you might want to ask this guy where he got his. Not quite the right shape but it could work.

Yes, the fact that he couldn't make the suit is the unrealistic part of the movie. :tongue:

As a first cousin to the three Crown Princes of Valdria, and himself fourth in line for the crown, he would become a soldier and hopefully distinguish himself in battle so that one day he might join the Praetorian Guard and protect the princes, and the line of succession, with his life. The Wars of Succession had ended generations ago, and now Roderick was on the cusp of becoming the leader of the Praetorian Guard, as his father and grandfather had before him. But fate is a fickle mistress. In what would later become known as The Night of Attrition, the royal family was decimated leaving Roderick as the sole heir to the throne. Unbeknowst to him, his banner was raised and an army gathered to support his claim, a claim which he did not seek. He was captured and tried as a traitor to the throne but the name that stung most was that of ‘Usurper’. Held up as a straw man for the masses by the forces which had overthrown the Royal Family, Roderick was marked as a traitor, had his wings cut off, and he was thrown in the deepest dungeon where he was to be forgotten. Thankfully, fate once again intervened. Deep infighting in the usurper camps saw the castle attacked and Roderick was able to escape but not before raiding the Royal Armory where he procured a set of magicanical wings along with arms and armor. Roderick must now head to Earth to find Merk – the former suitor to the Princess - as he is the only one still alive who might be able to help him clear his name!

I'm confused by all the votes for Ghost Rider. I'm WAY behind in what's going on in the Marvel Universe but is GR a major player in the current Marvel events?
