Yikes...... looks like i lost quite a few pages in my customs thread.... I'll have to repost a bunch of stuff .... but for now, a work in progress. I always felt weird about wip shots, but this is at a stage where it looks pretty cool as is. I plan on repainting the legs, and adding a chest cap (hoping to mimic the original with a see thru panel. I started this a few months back, but couldn't quite finish it before i had to pack everything up for a move, I took this pic before i packed him up, not even sure what box he's in..I don't know when i'll get to finish it, as I haven't even opened any of my stuff since we moved in. ok, enough yapping, here is my WIP of a petty cool bad guy, Zartan, from GI Joe

I actually don't find it odd at all... I think if I was anyone other than an adult collector of minimates, I'd probably pick up the Spiderman set before the others. We, as a group, tend to overlook the fact that spiderman sells ... Some random kid or parent who comes across these, will more than likely pick up or want the spiderman, because to the general public, I'd imagine it going something like this... "who the heck is MAn-Thing, or even Nighthawk".... "oooh Spiderman, I bet he'll love this!" or ....." Hey , look little johnny, its a Spiderman lego guy, and you get a bonus bad guy for him to catch" I'm just having a bit of fun, and the only reason I commented is because you felt it was power man, who sold the set. As much as I even get tired of Spiderman (except for a hyro spidey someday), He sells toys....

Oh snap, like the snap of a twig..... mini baby Groot may be the coolest little accessory ever! plus I think I'm pretty excited for that Rocket .... Loving Yondu's headpiece ( i think thats him) This may be the first movie wave I get ...

Not sure who my favorite, or least favorite Wolverine is yet, or even one I'd like to see be made.... BUT...... I absolutely love this mask that everyone hates. The mate is in the middle of the pack for me, but just wanted to chime in that I may be the only one who loves this mask!

I absolutely love this wave! only a few minor nitpicks i have for Hyperion ( but still love the figure) and Bravo to that photo of jetpack Spidey, what a great action shot, and decision to go sideways with the flame stand!

absolutely, those shopping spree outfits would be spectacular! I'm just rying to keep myself from being too greedy, or getting too worked up , lol lederhosen Clark would also be a thing of beauty. We'd have to get a Jack headshot photo with Audrey. Speaking of Jack (Billy Zabka) how awesome would Karate kids mates be? especially in the skeleton costumes!

#4 - The Peeps Ghosts Package

I second this... bigtime! I need Vacation, and Christmas Vacation mates, along with vehicles...... The accessories that could be involved would be insanely cool!

I started to get these. Have been lucky so far, but only have a few. Just grabbed two GI Joes last night from TRU. The price is what makes this a tough one, I'd have a hard time buying a duplicate figure for that much in general, let alone blind boxed... I'm totally looking for Man E Faces... I think he's the best looking of the bunch.

I look forward to the minimates, and hope for multiple boxsets. These were the only things that got me excited from the show .... and Caddyshack (hoping minimates will be revealed soon )

I never really cared for 99% of these looks, aesthetically they never appealed to me.... But... I do love samurai, and will have to have the silver Samurai Chromed. I do think that mojo will be a thing of beauty in minimate form (in a so ugly, its cute kind of way), especially if it turns out half as good as Luke's... So, who could be part of the companion wave at TRU? is the Magneto/Wolverine 2-pack part of that?

I'd be floored if we got minutemen! Its no secret that i love me some golden aged looks.

Miscellaneous

OK, I still want the same old stuff like GI Joe, MOTU, Hanna-Barbera, Dukes of Hazzard, A-Team, Battle of the Planets, etc........But... I am very late to this series and games, but I would absolutely love" Assassin's Creed" minimates! my son wanted to play it, so my brother gave me an old game, and we love it... I love the costumes so much, I am considering a full changeup of customs i plan on doing, and focus on these!

Found them in Chestertown, MD yesterday on my way back to PA. only one set each, but they are in MD and Delaware now too.
