Zombie Cyborgs now thats cool!

First time I've noticed it seems zombie Iron man's face plate raises and lowers.

I was finally able to get a set of Indiemates from ebay for a a good price under £9 postage included so I'm happy. No real faults except Magadalena seems stuck at the waist but i'll have ago at loosening that later. As a whole I like them and a quick wiki search helped me on who is who in what universe, Witchblade I had heard of already but not the others.

For me it was the the first 2 waves Spidey/Daredevil/Hulk. I have been a spidey fan from a kid and was actually looking up some old toys I had as a kid an came across a pic of the spidey wave in like a coming soon bit on some site and that was that I loved the look. I then was able to get them in the UK mostly with a bit of searching and places like the original AA forum and this place have helped me keep on the pulse.

There is a X-men boxset on ebay UK at the moment just spotted it as I was searching to see if there was a zombie boxset on ebay UK yet

I think MGM owns Robocop and that to me would make a nice box set

Masters of Universe for me just because I think it has the most scope for waves. As for VideoGames no real choice for me so I'll go for mixed

Eeekk both my wants on there! Got to be Squadron Supreme for me out of those but as I said Classic X set for me but I would also go for an Ultimates set.

Sinister 6 for me out of that batch but Wrecking Crew was a close second. I would have been torn with the option of classic X-men in blue an yellow or a Squadron Supreme set as well.

years ago a friend gave me gotham by gaslight and that hooked me into the elseworlds stuff and I have to agree Red Son is a good read, the two elseworlds mates are prob my favs of the new wave.

I'm reposting my Wave 8 list as I still like it Black Suit Superman/Doomsday Hourman/Starman Huntress/Riddler Battle damaged Aquaman/ Black Manta But seeing as we just had a few elseworlds mates anything possible so... anything from the line of comics Stan Lee did for DC reinventing Supes Batman etc

Have to say I'm really happy with the way the DC line is coming along. Nice mates and as always it seems DCD blindsides us all with its picks. Looking at this wave a quick thought came to mind this is a good selection for collectors and passing buyers, just bear with me and I'll try to explain. People who use this board know the difference between all the different characters and costumes and stuff like that but a passing parent may not and just see a Superman/Wonder Woman pack or a Bat character and because their child like Batman pick them up in passing, which can only be good thing as they may come back and buy more. I like this wave as it touches on maybe the 3 main characters in the DC universe Bats/Supes/Wonderwoman and gives us something that is a little different for all.

Aye Carumba!! Psylocke & Gambit. sucks to be me it seems wrong side of the pond an all that. Just a quick thought these figures popping up be it exclusives or waves seem to filling in the blanks on the original minimate poster. Angel, Hobby, Mysterio, Psylocke, Havok, Gambit. That by my eyes only leaves Toad to pair up and thats the lot....Ohh No could that mean the finishing of the poster is like a omen for the last days of minimates. Thats it Toad is the horseman of the minimate apocalypse, all fear and beware the bouncing one! and before anyone cracks under the strain I am trying to be humourous

Anyone here ordered from AFX to the UK? I went to order 2 Packs of the daredevil/giantman and one of the box set and the cheapest postage I could get from them was $43..the other was $125!! Sorry but I aint paying that for 3 cardboard boxes and some plastic. What I wanted to know was what postage method if you have ordered from them before has others used?

On the upside glad to see them finally getting around to releasing a spiderman variant that ppl actually wanted for once. On the downside another store exclusive that will be very hard to get for those of us outside the USA.

I know it would never happen (but who knows) I would flip for some minimates based in the Amalgam universe.

If I see this wave on the shelves I would pick it up but I have to agree with alot of ppl that this set is very bland and just doesn't catch the eye. There is only one mate in the whole set that isn't generic looking and thats the GR mate itself and even that one is very very close to the one released already.
