TRU is known for marking up Lego, especially at the Holidays. If you can wait, there will be plenty at other retailers in the new year. I'll be getting the Luthor set and the Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape set. I like the minimate batplane and batmobile designs better than the current Lego sets. Yeah the Batjet and Batmobile are the only C3 sets that I hung on to and I am glad because I also think they look better than what we are getting here.

I saw at TRU today the new DC Universe Super Heroes Lego sets. There was a Mech with Lex Luthor, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Then there was a Catwoman/Batman set and a Joker/Batman set with the batjet and a helicopter. They also had herofactory/bionicle type figures of Batman, Joker, and Green Lantern. I was most intrigued by the Mech set with Lex, Superman and WW but I am afraid it will be one of those things that if I get one of the sets I will want to get more and with no DC minimates coming it is even more tempting but I didn't get it. . . . at least for now. Anyone else thinking of getting these? Sorry I didn't look close enough, this can be merged with the DC legos thread!

I like the IM a bit, but I am not very excited for waves 43 and 44.

Where was that? I am dying to get that figure, especially after reading the Old Republic Revan book. (Not that Bastila is a huge part of that book but she is in it).

I also got that set for 2.99 as part of the order I placed to get the Web Armor Spidey. I was equally amazed that they still have Darktide and don't know why you would want that set for $16. I guess someone could, I just remember that I got four or five of those sets for my nephews for Christmas a while back and they were on clearance for $3.00! Today at TRU I saw a Mr. Negative/Fantomex pack on the peg and someone had replaced Fantomex with the Wolverine from the Darkside set and then returned it! That Wolverine is one of my least favorite of all time! I was mad to see that this is now happening at my store but even madder that that was the minimate they chose to put back in the packge, although I guess I can understand the urge to get rid of that minimate for a cool one like Fantomex.

Saw them this morning on the website, but Crossbones set out of stock. So I went to my TRU on my lunch and nada. Hopefully they get that set back instock so I can snag these both online so I don't have to wait who knows how long for them to maybe possibly show up at the store.

That TRU is about 30 miles north of where I live. The two in my area (there are one or two more I may check today)didnt get any Heralds sets. That particular TRU is also in Totawa NJ which is the next town over from Wayne which is TRU's HQ. That kinda makes it TRU's NJ flagship store. I wonder if that has anything to do with it? Yeah that would make sense!

I just don't understand TRU's distribution! You have four pegs of the Heralds set and my TRU has never got a four pack set even though they do get all the other minimates. Just glad I got the set on tru.com.

I got wave 42 from LTS over the weekend and I love Armored Thor he is my favorite from this wave! This is overall a great wave.

Thank you for starting this thread so that I didn't have to wade through crap about Twilight while trying to read about Galactus. My wife loved the Twilight books and I have seen the movies only because she wanted to watch them. Two things 1. Twilight sucks! If I am going to watch a movie with Vampires andn Werewolves I want there to be some blood and gore and overall darkness not sparkly glowy vampires who frolick in the forest, and a brooding teenager who is on my list of worst actresses in all of ever. 2. At SDCC four years ago or so Summit Entertainment had a panel with upcoming movies like Push and Twilight. My wife wanted to go so we got in to see that panel. This was in Hall H which holds like 4000 people or something like that. When the cast of Twilight came out my eardrums nearly exploded from all of the high pitch screaming teenage girls. I have never heard anything like that in my life. I imagine it would be akin to going to a Justin Bieber concert.

I am excited to get home today as my package with Snout Spout and Swiftwind came in the mail. I watched the Pixel Dan review of Swiftwind and it looks like it will be really cool and I know my daughter is going to love it! Hopefully my new She-Ra will show up quick so that I will have a proper rider for Swiftwind. I though battleground Evil-Lyn was supposed to be this month but oh well next month is going to be amazing with the Wind Raider, I can't wait for that one. This line continues to be the best larger than minimates toy out there!

Well something good is going on because I got a shipping notice from Lukestoystore and the only thing I have on order right now is wave 42! After seeing the pics of the wave on the art asylum blog I am really excited for this wave!

Wave 28 Gambit all the way If there was a fire and I could only save 5 of my minimates it would be Gambit Wave 28 Deadpool Wave 6 Iron Man (he reminds me the most of my Secret Wars figure I had as a kid) Wave 5 Captain America (just love that first one) SDCC Gold Battle Beast Gator (I adored my Battle Beasts as a kid so once again nostalgia) But I hate thinking about that scenario because I would probably actually end up burning to death as I tried to save all my minimates because there are simply way to many amazing minimates to only save a few or create a lasting unchanging favorites list.

I am OK with this idea since I always get the whole wave anyway. The idea of having a variant part to the BAF in the variant set in the wave is a cool idea. Random addition to that idea would be to include variant parts to other characters in the wave in the variant pack. (that would cause variant packs to go up in price I think on the secondary market especially). I loved the BAF in Marvel Legends (my BAF ML Sentinel is one of my favorite toys)so I wouldn't mind this in minimates.

It hasn't shown up to my store down here in Orem but I got the set in the mail yesterday since I ordered it off the website. I love this set. The Galactus is great! I love sets with all new characters and great unique accessories.

So recently my wife and I had a discussion (not for the first time) about all the movies that are the same that come out at the same time (i.e. Armageddon-Deep Impact, Bugs Life-Antz, Dante's Peak-Volcano etc etc etc) this was brought on by the fact that there are two new Snow White movies coming out, one with Julia Roberts as the wicked Queen and pictures from that one frankly look stupid, and then Snow White and the Huntsman. First I see Charlize Theron as the wicked Queen and Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman and I think that is great, then I see Kristen Stewart as Snow White and I thought well that just ruins a good thing. Well today I watched the trailer for this movie and wow it looks like it is going to be amazing! I do realize there isn't much actual Snow White in the trailer so Kristen Stewart could still suck it up big time but the trailer made me really excited for this. It will be interesting to see what the other one will be like. Anybody else see the trailer and get excited for this movie? Sidenote-I have been watching the Once Upon a Time show on ABC and it is intriguing so far. It is a really cool spin on fairy tales.

Man I always check the website at the wrong time as it is always out of stock when I check. I do not want to deal with TRU this holiday so I will definitely snag this on the website when I can.

Where did you pick up Bastila? (Walmart, Target, Tru. . . .) That is definitely one that I want!

I also can't wait to get a box set with all new characters in it! My struggle lately has been that it is difficult to buy a box set that is 1/2 or 3/4 different versions of already made characters so I am glad to get a set that I will have no hesitations to buy it!
