Great deal on the X3 variant. My wife got me that Blue Suit Xavier for Christmas a few years back and I am glad she did cause some (like that one) are simply a pain to get a hold of if you don't get them when they first come out.

All of the extra troop builders I get with a wave go into my trade/sell pile. The only groups that I have an army of are my Cylons and Viper pilots.

Was just looking at waves 43 and 44 again and thinking that these may be the waves when I stop buying a complete set with variant. But the fact that I have the 41 (Since GR wave didn't release) variants that have come before means I will have trouble stopping myself from getting all of both these waves. Each wave only has 3 minimates that I am really interested in. The dilemma of wanting to be a completist vs buying something I don't particularly want has become larger lately. Maybe they will show stuff at NYTF that will be must have complete waves and then I will just have to get all of these waves so that I don't have a hole in the collection.

I was the first one to touch the case, that has been a few days now but minimates (even the exclusives) don't seem to move super fast at my store. I used to work directly next door to my TRU (at the RC Willey) and could go check on a daily basis but now I don't so I don't get up there more than once maybe twice a week to check so I haven't been back since Tuesday.

It was slightly frustrating last month that they delayed the shipment of Demo-man for the monthly figure along with Battleground Evil Lyn but Mattel released a revised release schedule for the first half of 2012 and so the Sorceress won't be until February now and Stinkor got pushed back to May. Of course I am just fine waiting as long as I get the figure but I hate looking forward to something only to have it pushed back. The Sorceress was supposed to start shipping to sub holders this week and now gets pushed back to February so close to when she was supposed to come out is frustrating. Hopefully what they have to reveal at NYTF reignites my excitement to overcome my frustration.

Getting all this set up in the last two weeks after moving in was like having a zillion Christmases as I unpacked all of my great stuff. Setting up the minimates was not as bad as I thought it would be as I didn't have any domino fall overs which was awesome! ENJOY!

The wave showed up at my TRU in Orem, Utah today which was great because I had Rewards dollars and a gift card from Christmas. I was also happy because now I don't have to check TRU.com multiple times a day hoping for Crossbones to come into stock!

1. They need to turn the volume up to eleven on Marvel (the current announced waves are lackluster to me they need more new characters) 2. They need to revive Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, and Street Fighter (I want Blanka and Ken among others) 3. Overhaul kind of goes with turning up the volume on Marvel 4. Slew of new properties. . . . . .well gosh the guessing on this is endless. If it was going to blow my mind it would have to be Star Wars or He-man.

Yeah it ranks right up there with the animated Grimlock I got at K-Mart a few years ago that was mistagged for 2.99 instead of 21.99!

So I was at TRU yesterday hoping that they had wave 12 of minimates there and I was going down the SW/TF aisle and I saw one of the TF Universe 25th anniversary box Voyager Class Inferno (the Red Fire truck) on the shelf and thought to myself that that was strange because that came out a few years ago so I figured it had to be on clearance so I went and scanned it into the price checker and BAM 2$ that's right two dollars!!!!! Man I love it when I find a great looking toy for a killer price that I would never have bought before but thought was super cool and wanted to buy.

Currently I am looking forward to completing the set up of my new toy room in my new house. (I will post pics when I am done). Life-Fixing stuff up in my new house (its new to me but a 15 year old house so there is a lot to do especially in the yard) I teach high school social studies at an alternative high school (the school for the kids who get kicked our or just get behind in regular high school) and they are changing the format of how the school works so that will be a change, but I am looking forward to it. Media- Can't wait for several movies this year namely Prometheus, Avengers, Dark Knight Rises, The Hunger Games, The Hobbit, and GI Joe II among others. Always look forward to new Star Wars books to read such as the upcoming Darth Plagueis and the conclusion of the FOTJ series. For Christmas my mother-in-law got me all 12 of the Galaxy of Fear books which is a scholastic series from the late 90s that although cheesy was the last big hole in my book collection so I got to read those too. Toys I keep an ongoing list and check things off when I get them and add things when they are announced and it is too long to put here but I am looking forward to finding out what the Battle Beasts announcement is. My most anticipated toy that I am aware of is Stinkor in the MOTUC line coming in April!

I have had way to many headaches with my MOTU subscription (including the current headache of trying to get my address changed without causing any future headaches with monthly shipments) to be interested in this for any other line.

Oh yes please be minimate form! I would be very sad if it was anything like what they showed a while back.

My haul was a new house! We closed on it this last week and got the keys on Friday. We are cleaning tomorrow and moving on Tuesday. I spent most of my Christmas weekend packing and then got a bunch of new toys (for me and the kids) to pack up as well! My haul today was some Entertainment Earth exclusive Star Wars Comic 2 packs, some Star Wars Books, MOTUC Wind Raider, TRU gift cards and cash so I was well pleased.

Man, despite my checking 5 times a day I always seem to be checking at the wrong times!

Oh man I got goosebumps! That was amazing! I cannot wait for this. I saw what looked like the giant cannon from Alien that is on the ship with all the eggs. Can't wait to see how this connects to Alien.

That is incredible news! I can't wait to see these sets and would love to have a LOTR Lego game!!!!! But as always with any news regarding LOTR properties I find myself wishing so much that wave 3 of the LOTR minimates had been released!

I agree! I hate it when the action is hard to follow because it is too dark. This trailer did make me excited for this again especially since there was no flaming piss! I will definitely go see this one.

Anybody else see the preview for GI Joe Retaliation? I think it looks like it will be just as good if not better than the first. I am excited!

My TRU also got the Marvel Vs Capcom SDCC set (the first four pack my store has ever sold) but no wave 12. They still have 3 pegs full of other miscellaneous waves going back to the FF wave, so hopefully the website gets more of the exclusives in because I don't see my store getting more while they still have so much on th pegs.
