  1. So does that Destro with the Soundwave come with the Shockwave tank? Whatever it comes with I must have it NOW!!!!!
  2. Wow! I was sad last night to not have any pics yet but the awesomeness of all that makes up for the wait! Can't wait for wave 47. Even seeing the pics of the Amazing Spiderman wave got me excited (love the Dr. Connors with the pinned up sleeve). Not a big Hulk fan but the pics of the TTA set look good. Venom TTA looks amazing and I wish they would roll out TRU waves faster because they just seem to slip in some really great ones into those waves. My first minimate set was the Spiderman set from TRU with Rhino as the hidden figure and I have loved that minimate since the beginning so I am really excited to be getting a bulked up version. Can't wait for the Walking Dead sets! Thanks DST it all looks amazing!
  3. Pics over at toynewsi.com for Playmates new TMNT pics look great and there is a new Jabba's Palace lego set next year that looks fracking amazing!
  4. Based on that picture nothing jumps out as a must have. Hopefully we get some better Toy Fair announcements than that.
  5. Oops! You will often see edits on my posts because I type a bit too fast sometimes and don't catch my error till after I hit add reply. Great thought provoking question too. I really think that Hasbro will do Star Trek better justice then Playmates.
  6. Check out this link about new Star Trek toys coming next year along with Star Trek Kre-O sets. I got a few TF Kre-os and they are pretty cool, and while this is absolutely no replacement for my desire to have more ST minimates I am excited to see what the Kre-o ship sets look like.
  7. Oh man this is the best minimate announcement in a long while for me! I love this show and will buy up any Walking Dead minimate releases! Can't wait for the show to come back on Sunday. THANK YOU DST!
  8. I think this looks great! This preview really makes me excited for this.
  9. I don't have any complaints for this wave, they all look good so far to me.
  10. Because I love Soundwave I ordered this Sonicron from BBTS and got it in the mail yesterday. Although it is a really cool alternate version of Soundwave it is a pain to stand up (the leg joints are super loose) and the snap feature to hold it together as a recorder SUCKS and doesn't work well at all. Oh well he still looks awesome with all my other Soundwaves.
  11. Those figures are amazing! While a lot of my other toys growing up (GI Joe, Transformers, and He-Man for example) were mostly hand me downs from older brothers, the TMNT toys were mine so I am very excited to get my hands on these!
  12. Those look great but I would much rather have normal size Muggs. I just saw that pic for the first time with the designs for Beast and Dr. Strange etc and man oh man do I wish they had made that Gambit!!!
  13. No checklist included in the blind packaging. My TRU also had a hoard of Galactic Heroes. They still have the GH ATST set at my store and I want it but there is no way I will pay 38$ for it!
  14. I also saw these last night and really wanted a Darth Vader but the only one in the open window package has his helmet off and I didn't see any Yodas or Boba Fetts (just Jango) So I didn't buy any of the big packs. I had my son pick one of the blind packages (I HATE blind packaging) and I got a Commander Cody and a Chewbacca. I probably won't buy anymore but can now say that I did buy one pack just so I could see them first hand.
  15. Oh man I got to start saving my money now! I didn't think I would want to get into collecting any other legos beside Star Wars but that desire is going out the window! Can't wait for these! (Although I will always wish that wave 3 minimates had been released)
  16. I also got an lot on ebay that came smelling like smoke. I left them out in the garage over night and it worked fine.
  17. Those look awesome. I am especially excited for Boomer and Rictor. Sad that they aren't until March though.
  18. I am jealous as I really wanted to get that set. That is much further for a grail than I would ever be able to get myself to go so my hat is off to you!
  19. Thanks for some quick suggestions! I think I will try your solution Turtle as I know I have an old figure somewhere that my dad fixed the exact same way when I was a kid and it is still holding up, I just hadn't thought about that until now.
  20. Figured I would keep using this thread instead of staring a new one. I recently moved and was setting up my minimates again. As I did this I would give the joints on each minimate a move around and when I moved the arm of Jane Foster the peg broke. It didn't come completely off so the arm is still hanging on there but I am not sure what to do to fix it at this point and still maintain the moveability of that arm. Suggestions?
  21. Go on over to the Art Asylum Blog and check out the announcement for the Worthy and the Mighty box sets from the Fear Itself storyline. Click here. These look cool I just wish they actual had a picture of Iron Man.
  22. So I read about and then watched a new show that premiered on the Travel channel on Sunday night called Toy Hunters. It was about a guy who goes to collector's and toy designer's homes and bargains to buy their toys so that he can take them and sell them at NYCC at his toy booth. It was interesting and fun to watch. He brokered a vintage rocket firing Boba Fett selling it for $17,000! I of course think it is a great idea for a show but don't know how long they could keep it going with just this one guy it would need to be expanded. Anyone else catch that show?
