  1. Anyone get theirs yet? (from DST)
  2. good call cdubya. (by the way, i have a hat that says cdubya.. one of my nicknames growing up)
  3. Do we have a date on when Wave 7 will be announced? I can't believe we are getting 6 waves in one year. I can't wait to see what 2008 brings us with this line.
  4. I found MY's first issue at a collector shop and I was close to buying it but then I learned that during one of DC's many reconstructed histories, the character had been wiped out completely and didn't belong on any "earths". Since DC says he doesn't exist anymore and never did, i figured I had to believe it.. just like Wonder Woman never being part of the original JLA.. when history is rewritten you just have to go with it. My, my, my.. I can't believe this topic went past April 1.
  5. Civil War Spidey and Web Armor Spidey are listed as two separate characters on the Target two packs list. The web armor spidey has got to be based on the version of spidey with the greyish/silver web armor that Peter Parker created many years ago.. the only question is where they will place the detail.
  6. JLA has been ok. It seems like they tried to hit the ground running.. so it doesn't feel like they have really organized the new league yet.. I don't know.. it just hasn't really hooked me yet.
  7. Sorry folks.. I had to vent.. I really thought these would be shipping by now (or on my shelf by now).. still pending is starting to bug me just a bit. Set to ship out on March 26.. but in small print it must have said that a week after that date they still will be in unknownsville. How many here placed the order with Diamond? (i'm really not ticked off.. just playin)
  8. Those are nice home made Web Armor Spideys, especially Boyds. I hope the official one looks as nice as Boyds.
  9. Nice thing with Target 2 packs is they are so cheap I can always justify picking up another pack. I can't wait to see exactly what their definition of Web Armor Spidey is. I hope he has some extra pieces added for the armored effect.
  10. darn, I was hoping to see a pic. I love having the early pics to look forward to upcoming mates. The kids enjoy printing them and circling their first choice and such. Oh well, I'll just keep watching the boards for the first sighting over the next month or two. Thanks everyone.
  11. I thought I would have mine this weekend too. Can't wait.. even though I think the protype paint job looks a little cooler than the final. I liked the black under the light colored webbing.. it made it really stand out and look like the movie costume webbing.
  12. Fun April Fools gag? It took me second.
  13. Formula for a simple makeshift Kyle without painting: Hal's body with John Stewarts arms. Throw on the latest Bruce Wayne hair piece and it's surprising how different the mini looks. I know this doesn't fit any exact version of Kyle Rayner but it does look like a nice composite Kyle. PS: The Kyle you see in Ady's Avatar is a different version all together
  14. Hey JC Awesome, he wasn't showing you the list of names in the wave, he was giving you a link to pictures of the blister packs with Wonder Womans picture on the cover. Click the links man. I know Ady's niece is going to freak at seeing WW on the blister pack. Thanks much for the links Mini Myte
  15. Top Ten Request: *Kyle Rayner (Late 90's Early 2000's Costume) *Ion (Original White/Green Ion Costume) *Parallax *Sinestro *The Sentry *Jade *The Atom (Ray Palmer) *Atom Smasher (2.5 inch) *Black Canary *Zatanna Runners Up: (current JLA) Black Lightning Vixen Arsenal Superman/Batman Variations: *Kandor Superman a.k.a. Last Son of Krypton Superman (Like the variant in Justice League Heroes) *Infiltration Suit Batman (Black with Black cape and Red Bat Logo) -not to be confused with the Batman Beyond suit (This list covers everything I could ever hope for from this line. They have already announced so many great choices, the above would complete it for me) And I can't walk away without giving props to this quoted list. I SECOND all of the above listed!! (great list XManRCJ!!) Does anyone making decisions on this stuff ever see this?
  16. Just wondering if anyone has found a picture of the Web Armor Spiderman that Toyfair mentioned was coming to Target in their 2pack spiderman line? I looked through all the newer pics from fairs and stuff and this is one of the few mates mentioned that I can't find ANYTHING on. I just kind of thought something might of turned up by now.. and maybe it has, and Im missing the boat. so.. Thanks for any heads up that anyone can offer. Vox
  17. Kyle Rayner/Paralax is a really cool idea. I've actually been a little surprised at all the love the GL's are getting.. and I like it. I think Alan Scott/Grundy idea is a very strong possibility. DCD has done that as a collectible mini two pack before so it makes sense. Here is who I really still want to see: Kyle Rayner (2nd costume and/or first Ion costume.. actually... all costumes!!!) Alan Scott The Atom Atom Smasher Black Canary Flash (Barry Allen) Prof. Zoom Sinestro Ganthet and seriously after that.. with all that they have announced already, it covers all characters that I have had any interest in over the years. Of course I will take whatever they keep sending but the above are the ones I am holding out for. Keep it up DCD!!!
  18. Cool bit of news about Batman and LEGOs is the video game is official for next year. Just like the Star Wars Lego games we will be getting a BATMAN LEGO game that could be a blast.
  19. Now that everything has been revealed I have a question: The teaser shadow picture of series 17 and 18 showed 6 Figures on the top row and 7 on the bottom row. That picture lines up perfectly with everything we have seen so we are either missing a picture of the Variant Venom of Wave 17 or the Venom that goes with series 18. Judging from the shadow pic we just don't get to see the Variant Venom. Can someone that knows clear this up for me?
  20. I love that Robin's left hand is slightly tighter with better grip to hold the batarang. Great series.. I love every single one of em!!!
  21. I'm stoked for Aquaman and GA as well. I emphasized WW because I've always looked at Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman as the big 3 of DC and then Flash, GL, Aquaman as a kind of row two (even tho I'm a big GL guy) and then Green Arrow, Black Canary, et al as supporting cast. Really at this point they have covered all the bases in upcoming waves.. Except The Atom. I throw that out there for my Nephew because all nine of the kids in our family (cousins and such) have their own JLA character when they play.. and after the Supergirl announcement, the Atom is the only one left out of their club.
  22. Best-Non-Costumed-Mates Ever!!! imo The detail is incredible. If I wasn't a minimate collector I would have a hard time believing these were 2 inches tall. Well done AA, well done.
  23. Where is the MMU post? OOPs scratch that.. Top of the page.. a little slow today.. sorry folks.
  24. I've got to say that the DC line has given NEW LIFE to my mini obsession!! Wave 1 was just a blast and to have another wave sooo soon just keeps the good times rolling! And in 4 more weeks (give or take) Wonder Woman will finally take her place aside the others to form my JLA core team. Thanks Art Asylum. Thanks DCD. The Vox that Talks Minis
  25. It's been fun to learn a little more about the S.T.R.I.P.E. character since this announcement. The whole Stars and Stripes history is interesting. As for the mates.. I would assume he can be taken apart like all the other mates up to this point.. but as stated, many of the DC pictures have been a bit deceiving.. some prototypes, some CGI.. Question for any of you with experience with this character: Pronunciation of STRIPESY: (Stripe-See)? or (Stripe-ee-see)?
