I never really accepted Bart as THE Flash so I was very glad to see it come back to Wally. And to have Hal speak first to Wally about joining the JLA made it complete. Strangely.. it was still sad to see Bart go. I'm a sentimental idiot at times. It's been a while since DC has had a story involving characters I'm interested in with tie-in stories of other books i like. Meaning Countdown, Flash, GL, JLA, JSA, are all heading in a direction I like right now.

I know some of you are reading Justice League of America.. so I just have to throw a woot to the Lightning Saga and how it ended in JLA #10! I've been hoping to see this for over a year and it was still a surprise. SPOILER SORRY I DON'T KNOW HOW TO HIDE SPOILERS ON THIS BOARD.. SO STOP READING NOW: The heroes from the future used their tech to pull Wally West and his family out of the speed force/riding the lightning.. and as soon as he was back Hal hit him up to join the League. Now this is officially my favorite incarnation of the League since the concept was first put forth all those years ago in Brave and Bold.

I love this board! Thanks for all the answers guys. I'm glad to hear that things are going well. In my family alone we have 10 people collecting (including nephews and nieces) and we have been pretty supportive of the local distributors but it's nice to hear how things are elsewhere. Is it a given that SDCC will have DC Mini news? I've never been to a convention of any kind before but it's looking like I'll be attending SDCC next month and I'm pretty excited. I would love to see some DC action while there!! I can only imagine how fun it must of been last year to walk up and recite a bit of Green Lantern's Oath and walk away with John Stewart. The Marvel Zombie news is cool and all.. but here's to hoping DC has an ace up their sleeve as well!!! VOX

Hey gang, just popping in to check if anyone has any word on something new past wave 6? Every wave so far has at least a few characters that I am really excited about.. but there are still a few characters that I really hope to see before DC finishes their mini line.. So.. do we know if Waves 1, 2 and 3 have been successful? Are the sales matching expectations? Are there plans in the works for Wave 7? Thanks to any and all that can throw in any info they have. It just won't feel complete without: Alan Scott Sinestro Barry/Wally Flash a Rogue from Flash's Rogue's gallery Kyle Rayner The Atom ...honestly, if some of the above made it in that would cover all my favs from the DCU.. of course there are dozens of others that would be fun.. but as with you all.. we have ones that are dearer than others.

I figured it would be zombies since the first mention of the minis.. since it was in the same announcement as the Captain America bust. Not a huge fan, but I'll probably get them.

I enjoyed it. I even took my Symbiote Spidey Minimate (Diamond Select) and kept placing it on my girls knee to get her laughing.. (like Seinfeld did with the Tweety Bird Pez dispenser in Seinfeld.. great schtick) I know it's getting mixed reviews but I was entertained. I decided long ago I was going to let Comic based movies have their own interpretation without focusing on canon.. and it really lets me enjoy things more. -V

My BD Batman's Leg snapped at the knee pretty easily.. and Slade (Deathstroke) had a broken piece inside his torso so the peg coming up from the legs doesn't fit tight and he falls apart VERY easily. This wave is the first QC problem I've seen on any of the DCD Minis thus far. Too Bad.

My bad, I figured store spotting and carrier news has been posted and discussed in the main forums before and that this would fit under that since I'm not selling or buying anything. Thanks for setting me straight broham. Again, I am not affiliated with this store in any way.. just trying to give a heads about a new carrier of minis in this area.

Hey guys, I think there are a few other Utah collectors on this board so I wanted to throw this out there. There is now a 2nd source for DC Mates in Northern Utah.. End Zone has waves 1 and 2 at $5.95 right now. (Future waves may be sold at $6.95 but this is still better than $9.00) I pushed for this a lot at this LCS so I hope they sell well and I won't have to drive an hour away and pay through the nose for all future waves. I'm trying to remember where I saw the batgirl c3 flyer still for sale online... ebay prices have gone crazy, even on the less popular items like this one.. so I thought I would check here and see if any of you have seen her for sale from an online store (at a reasonable price). I've given up on the Batcopter since the only one I've seen in months is $114 (just silly) but ol' Batgirl is one I put off and put off and now I really need to come a step closer to completing my C3 collection. I'm usually not a completest but lately I've had the desire to setup all of my C3 stuff on display around a glued together batcave. Thanks for any tips you all might have. Vox p.s. since this is the DC Minimate thread, I just want to add that I would have loved to have an invisible jet flyer for wonder woman done when C3 was still going on.. now that the justice league is being filled out with minis it is making me wish I had a flyer for each of the founding members.. hahah oh well.. I guess I can try and build one with see through legos...

I actually liked the unmasked daredevil's red lensed glasses. but I know what you're saying. Ill have to try that hair piece with Blue Beetle.

My LCS thought they were coming but said he'd call me Monday when he would know for sure. And on a side note, is this 3 waves in a row that have come a week early? Kind of nice after waiting through all the delays to get Waves 1, 2 and 3 a week ahead of schedule. Cheers DCD!

I know I'm late to the party but I finally got my DST Spidey 2 pack in the mail and I have to throw a WOOT out for the great paint job. as mentioned here somewhere, the pics online don't do these spidey's justice. This is another point of proof that 2007 is a step up in mini quality IMO. Now I just hope that the Avengers line comes very soon. Anyway, just had to say these mates are great and I can't wait for the official waves.

Maybe they just need to update their web page but Big Bad Toy Store has SFMinis Wave 2 set for pre-order April 2007. Is that just some old random date of hope that doesn't apply? I apologize if this is just bunk.. but i keep hoping by some miracle this wave comes out... I can't have Ryu without Ken.. and Blanka looks too cool. I even like the werewolf from Darkstalkers.. just some great looking mates if they would give them a chance.

Finished #7 and I am once again glad I stuck with this line of JLA. I haven't paid attention to the JLA since the early 80's when I was a kid so I like that this current group feels like it's getting back to it's roots a bit. The art has been fantastic in EVERY issue. So ya, I take back my previous statement because this issue is what I have been waiting for to feel like it's really starting.

The batcopter is my final grail item as well. I haven't bid on it before because its always looks so high. What has it been closing for? $80?
