Checked 3 TRU's in the Salt Lake City area and they all had a few of the Magneto two packs and that was it. I talked to a guy at one of them and he was actually very helpful (he is a big Star Trek fan and understands collectors). He said the way TRU's distribution works is stores are catagorized by volume numbers. His store is a small one and is listed as a "D" store.. some of the big TRU's in giant cities could be a "B" or "A" store and are on different distribution cycles. He thought they might be getting them in their next shipment but he warned me that collectors hide figures until their paychecks come in and then come back and buy them... I can't imagine a collector doing that.. HA HA HA HA HA HA... but I digress.. So anyway, I will hopefully find my Deadpool next week.

I'm more excited about the comic deadpool and gambit coming in later waves.. but I must admit, I will be tracking these down. Tho, I am not thrilled with what they do to Deadpool in the flick (i'm sure everyone here has seen the figures based on his "film end" version) I have to wonder if we will ever see more of Deadpool in a seperate movie.. I know it was a Wolverine movie, but when it comes to any "x-men" I like to see as many mutants as possible. I like both versions of the blob.. way funny how he gains weight and stretches the tatoo.

I gotta say thanks again for the decal!! It looks great on a shiney sticker. I don't think I'll paint the mask purple as it looks pretty good without being exactly accurate. This is a custom that is perfect for those of us that aren't brilliant at making customs!! All parts swaps and one chest sticker and Alan Scott is in the display case with his GL brethren and Jay Garrick behind him.. in case they want to share stories about the olden days.

very well done. The mask is brilliant. The nice thing about Ocean Masters cape is in some of the older pics of Alan Scott he has almost this exact cape with the gold linking chain and everything.. With all of this great support I'm going to have to get serious about this figure and get er done.

Awesome! Just what I was hoping for! Yes I did this Kyle.. way back when the John Stewart was released at SDCC so it's been changed much since then.. I still use John Stewarts arms but on Hal Jordan's chest peice and then a Dare Devil head with a touch of paint around the eyes.. and then some more spikey black hair.. can't remember who's I used. As for Alan Scott.. The Ocean Master cape and the Hair of Aqua Man work so well it makes me really sad this line was canceled just a series or 2 too early. Good idea on the Riddler head.. I have just used Hal's head and go with the incorrect color.. but now I'm curious to try Riddler's head. Red feet look ok.. but I want to try a few different folded boots and see how it looks. brilliant peice together! I threw together a doctor with a black suit and the chuck taylors from the hunt but he didn't quite look right.. This suit is perfect! If only, if only... now we wait for 2010 when they announce: We are excited to look into a minimate version of Doctor Who but we are waiting until 2012...

I still love that Captain Marvel Spiderman Mini.. that thing is just so sweet.

Remember that character from Street Fighter I? Dead Horsuma? I'm hoping he gets released soon as a minimate! The variant with the zebra striping would be awesome. ;P Seriously tho, after DC ending too soon this is a close second on my list of toys that just need a few more for the collection to be complete. <sigh> just a shame.

Its hard to think that Alan Scott, Grundy, Kyle Rayner, Black Canary, & The Atom wouldn't have been in there somewhere along with a redone Martian Manhunter, Darkseid & some BatSupeWonder stuff.. and then of course some lesser knowns mixed in which I would have loved. Ya, this has been beat.. but this remains the saddest stopping of a collectible in my life. I'm still hoping for a couple box sets and maybe then we will see some of what they had planned for the last two waves. Really if the above were done and done right then I could let this rest in peace.

I'd be ALL over this! I started re-collecting JLU figures about 3 months ago just to fill the void left by DC Minimates. They are drastically expanding that line and I dig it... tho quality is awful and some of the 6 pack distribution has been crazy... they are still easier to find than Minis have been from time to time. They just repainted Sinestro from the JLU version and made him the Sinestro Corps version.. it made me want a Light Wars box set with Red, Blue, Yellow and Green lanterns... I would buy cases and cases of these if it were a reality. I hope for anything or anyone that could bring back any DC Minis in any way.. I don't really care who or how.. I would import them from Mongolia if that were the only option. Truth.

I pretty much second everything you said there. While I am a bigger Marvel fan, I'm still dissapointed they finished the DC minimates without adding in more GLs. Appologies if this is going off topic, but have you heard of the "Kyle as a Blue Lantern" idea that's been floating around on the internet? I'm a supporter of the idea as I think the Blue Ring would suit him. No. That is a great idea! They could start a whole other book on that! (or at least a new series). Is the rumor based on anything or is it just something fans want to see? I hope the guy that makes custom mini aps makes some blue and red lantern aps.

DUDE EXACTLY my thoughts! I'm a huge Kyle fan as well and that is by far my favorite costume of his. I don't know why they couldn't leave his costume alone. Original Ion was awesome.. Ion Part Two was meh.. Post Ion costume was AWESOME and current Kyle is ok. Hal and Kyle are the only real GL's in my book. I just could never get into the personalities of Guy and/or Jon as much.. seemed a little one dimensional to me.. not very deep. Anyway, the story is great, I'm sure all the upcoming full size figures will be great.. though I'd much rather be collecting DC Minis than $16.00 ea. full size figures. Bring on the Blackest Night!!

The above is a spoiler on this weeks edition of Green Lantern. I gotta say, this story just keeps getting better and better!

I'd also love to see the new Elephant Looking Blue Lantern.. the dude is just sweet..

I wish I could of found one of these as well.. you know somewhere in America there is a Target in some little town that has a case of these lost in a store room somewhere. <sigh>

They look ok, I was hoping to see the comic versions of Deadpool and Gambit instead, but these do look good for Movie Mates. I will probably get one of each but not a case (as has become the norm for my mini sickness). Really cool that MMV got these on here! Kudos to all involved. Now, the next big picture to look forward to: The X-Men people have been wanting to see since Wave 1. I can't wait for ToyFair.
