do either of these have wheels that fold under for flight? I remember an old M.A.S.K. toy I had as a kid did that and I always pretended it was my time machine.

What about the new 1/18th scale one coming out soon? (the second link above).. with lights and sounds and a little bigger car it looks like it could be a perfect fit. Around $40.. I know.. but it just looks so darn nice.. I would love it if it was an "unofficial" minimate display figure. Anyone have any news from AA on how this looks with minis? I may have to pick it up as a birthday present for myself later this year. and yes.. I will put it in my car and then drive 88 mph to see if it disappers and burns two flaming stripes across my seat.

I'd like to move on to a new type of JL cartoon. I like this idea.. I think it is important for the medium to change creative hands every decade or so.. As much as I like Timm's world, I think it is a shame that so many young kids think that is cannon Justice League/DC history. The Batman was a very fun take on the DC world especially the final season when a small Justice League was assembled. Brave & Bold has been a successful experiment in bringing a classic feel to a modern super hero cartoon.. I'd like them to keep going and keep trying new "looks" and new "takes" on DCU characters. JLI would be interesting but even more than that I would like to see a modern remake of the Super Friends (after B&B runs its course) or a Green Lantern Universe based cartoon. Just my two cents

Deadpool and Gambit are the last 2 Marvel charecters that I really wanted badly as Minis.. From here on in Marvel minis are all icing on the cake for me... and what a cake it has been. I do have to admit I was never truley satisfied with my old sabertooth.. so these Jim Lee characters are very welcome.. but damn.. Deadpool and Gambit.. just frikin brilliant!!

Still nothing on these eh? I hit up my TRU here in Salt Lake City.. I knew I wouldn't find anything but I just had to go see for myself. I wish we had a date on these so I could just put it out of my head until its time.. I love the feeling of hitting up a LCS or TRU or whatever.. no fore knowledge of what is in stock and then BAMO!! you hit the jackpot.. I think I like that part of collecting even more than the display. Vox ain't 'fraid a no ghost!

Cool News! Now if only we could get an authentic Peter Parker wearing Johnny Storm's Fantastic 4 costume with bare feet and a paper bag over his head.... Honestly, I think when it comes to Marvel, they are bravely going forward through that massive universe with Kang and Jim Lee's X-Men not very far off. Good news for everyone! With so much mini news in so many different areas of comics, movies and television.. I am really surprised the DC license doesn't try and jump back in. DC Box set + TRU = solid.. (IMHO).

Thanos looks perfect! I love the gloves, the helmet, the costume.. Seeing this mini makes me want to dust off my old Marvel Super Heroes video game and kick Thanos' purple behind! "Spider Sting"... So.. can anyone else confirm the "mid-July" word for Ghostbusters at TRU? Kind of a bummer but as long as I can stoll in and pick em up, I will be a happy buster. Also.. did the disney show Halloween Town steal the idea of the skelaton cab driver from Ghostbusters? Damn you Disney!

Well I am much happier with a week or two delay.. if the alternative is all the GB are toast from out of control pre-orders by resellers! I'll be in the mountains at a cabin this weekend with no internet so I wish you all good luck if GB shows up with a Friday shipment at TRU. Both ships look awesome!! I am just as excited about the ships as I am for BSG coming back all together!! I will jump at anything designed for minis to sit in. I'll probably buy a few of these to be used with other mates from other lines.. Maybe paint one green and have Abin Sur crash in it.. Or paint one yellow, blue and red and glue a robot arm to it so superman can use it to move kryptonite in space... j.k. but seriously: A mini Javelin (with a backend that doesn't fall off), Mini Quinjet, Mini Blackbird, Trek Shuttle craft, but I digress.. I am just stoked to have so much TRU news for Minis! Now if they could only pick up a few DC Universe box sets in all this craziness.. then I would probably need the paddles to be brought back in to electro shock me back to coherency. Vox

It would be an interesting DC Universe if ol' Shazam had won the law suit disputes with Supes back in the day... if memory serves, there was a time where Billy Batson and his alter ego were a bigger selling book than Superman... Weird to think about with today's perspective. I tried to vote for Shazam for President but the hanging chad's messed me up.. those ballots are so confussing...

Any idea on how much the key chains are going to go for on ebay? I have a feeling I'm going to want all 4 and I'll probably have to cough up some cash.. I've never gone to ebay for the freebies so I was wondering if anyone knows how bad it gets? Thanks

Crap on a crutch! I went to the absolutely weakest Minimate SDCC showing since their inception. I fly to San Diego in 2007 all excited for my first Comic Con and what do I get... a Zombie Minimate 2-pack. (2 years later and one of my LCC still has 10 of them on a shelf covered with dust). The years before and the years after have been loaded with sweet stuff! At least I got to meet some of you fellow collectors. Maybe next summer I'll be able to swing down.. but then again that may jinx it for us all and all they will sell is a 2 pack with battle damaged spiderman and Wolverine XXIV. I can't wait to hold those ghostbuster mates.. just sweet! Vox

Hmmm... Good call DCD.. stop doing those silly DC Minimates and focus your brand on crap like this. Really? This is my option if I want a 2" (more or less) Sinestro Corp Version of Sinestro? Really? Item after item after item reminds me of how sweet DCMinis were/are. I can't believe all these other experiments in DC collectibles are really making cash hand over fist for DCD. I guess there is just a part of the collection business that I will never understand. Just my opinion, Vox p.s. War of Light minis would have ruled the world.

Hey Hey its Electro! (does the Snoopy happy dance around my cubicle) Now finally I can pit him against Shocker to see who stays standing after a shock off! So glad to see this news! Now looking at the Spiderman ride.. Doc Ock, Hydro, Electro, Hob Goblin... the only figure from the Spiderman ride that is not a Minimate yet would be some weird female Carnage looking thing. Kind of weird they put her in there instead of Venom or Carnage if they wanted that type for the story.. since I can't even find a proper name for the character (other than "one of several carnage offspring"). De todos modos.. Great news, great spidey villians/family wave so far!!

I really want Electro.. how cool would that little mini mask be with big silly lightning bolts all over it... fingers crossed!!

You guys are sharp! After just going on the Spiderman ride at Islands of Adventure and seeing Electro in all his 4-D glory.. I really want a minimate made! I don't know how he might connect to house of m spiderman.. but they could just do it.
