  1. I love the glider, Nimrod and a big green thumbs up for the new bulky hulky. If this were the only version of hulk out there, I would be disappointed since he is so different.. but after 20 different hulks (I lost track of how many) from standard minimate to duck feet.. it was time to have a giant hulk. Now bulky Juggernaut, Thing, HB Iron Man, Bulky Hulky and Staypuft can all go cruising for chicks together and ask the ladies to check out their guns. Nice move. Can't wait for these.
  2. ya, they are a bit bigger than Minimates but still look pretty good with customs. I even pose a few minimates in some of the vehicles. My boy has 3 green lantern jets so I use one of them as a display with the DC Minimate Hal Jordan sitting inside.
  3. Imaginext started off slow with mainly Batman stuff be recently has really branched out into the JLA more.. Released: Batman (several versions) Robin Superman Krypto Green Lantern (Hal) Kilowog Ch'p The Flash Hawkman Joker Penguin Two Face Mr. Freeze The Riddler Coming Soon: Catwoman Clayface As a GL fan it was cool to see all the GL love from this line too: GL Jet (ring construct) Oa Playset Mech-suit (ring construct) not to mention the Batcave, Joker Funhouse and all the vehicles. I got the Batcave to use as a Minimate display base but since my boy is loving the toys and they have expanded into more DCU stuff this has become a fun little collection for us.
  4. They seem to be cranking out the Green Lantern/Other Lantern figures with these.. I really wish DC Minimates would have been going during the War of Light/Blackest Night/Brightest Day comics. <SIGH>
  5. The Iron Man Movie minimate from the first film. It took minimates to a whole new level for me. My classic favorite would be the first black spidey.
  6. I will never let this one go.. if someone at DCD or elsewhere states that there is a 1 in 1 million chance of DC Minimates.. my response will be, "so, you're saying there's a chance!?!". I just can't help but think about how cool things would be if DC had even half the number of minimates Marvel does.
  7. Thanks for the tip Nessex. I'll give those trades a try.
  8. Love the garbage pail blast from the past.. looks like those are making a comeback. Vox is from a sketch comedy group my friends and I had in college called The Vox Box (voice box). My Avatar represents my happiest and saddest connection to minimates: They made Hal Jordan, but never Kyle Rayner or Alan Scott.. DC Minis died way too young.
  9. I still have not been able to find Hulkbuster Iron Man for under $30+. Seems like this was plentiful in some parts of the country and very scarce in others. I've paid $30+ for a chase figure in the past but shelling out $40 for a TRU exclusive is kinda bugging me.. Am I the only one on here that had trouble finding this guy?
  10. Probably pick up Ratchet & Clank.. they both look a little strange, yet I can't look away.
  11. I can't wait for the "Murder She Wrote" box set. To quote Phil Dunphee, 'Good times, she wrote!'
  12. Thanks everyone. I'm not looking for anything particular.. Just fun to hunt in another town.
  13. I'll be visiting Indianapolis for business and wanted to see if any board members have recommendations for the Minimate scene in this fine city. I'll be downtown and saw there is a place called Downtown Comics.. not sure if they have collectibles.. Anyway, thought it would be worth a shot. Vox
  14. I'm excited about the Yellow Lantern Arkillo 'tongue' accessory. I wish I could find a prototype picture.. but the thought of a minimate with a tongue hanging from a neckless reminds me of why I started collecting these beautiful things. Great thread! Vox
  15. Any chance we could see variant colors or characters? I keep hoping there is some way to get Ken out of all this. Also, that blonde in the black gear is a close enough Black Canary for me... Yahoo, DC mini mates return! Lol
  16. So are these the official reason we never got Who Minimates? I like the look of the Daleks and Cybermen.. and I may have to get the 9th, 10th & 11th Doctor.. but I still wish they were minimates.
  17. I hate to get hopes up since BIG could mean "a multi colored Halo vehicle".. but for me, big would be DW, DC, or Free Minimates for life shipped to all members of this board. Probably have a better chance of that last one happening.. over the first two..
  18. Finally!! A movie about Banshee and Havok. FTW? It's going to take a mutant-miracle to get the masses on board with this.
  19. Wendigo & Sasquatch would be sweet. ...and selfishly, I would like another Hulkbuster Iron Man released.
  20. ya, this puts the final nail in the completist coffin for me. I'll have to pick and choose just the minis that are uber cool from now on..
  21. I'm still waiting for the Amazing Baghead.
  22. Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll keep my eye on ebay and see what I can snag. I get a little spoiled with my LCS setting stuff aside for me and forget about pouncing on the TRU exclusives as soon as they come out. I have a Legends Hulkbuster on my shelf and I really want to put him side by side with a MM version.
  23. I didn't realize Hulk-Buster Iron Man would be so hard to track down. I found LockJaw a while back but I have never been able to find HBIM. Scalpers are selling the thing for $35.. is it really that rare? Does anyone know if Hulkbuster Iron Man might get released in a comic shop wave later on?
  24. I've been trying to find the hover-board 4-pack since it was released. Man, I have bad timing... I am hoping the time machines sell well enough that they do plan a hover-conversion one. I passed a Delorean on the highway a few weeks ago.. the car was struggling to do 58.. let alone 88.. and the driver had a sweet 80's hair-dew (hair-do?) Anyway, it reminded me of how much I loved those films.. everything from the cheesey-stuff to the cool-stuff.
