Wait a second.. they are supposed to be vampires?!?.. for years I thought this was a series about Emma Frost's progeny. aaaaaaand back to the minis. So are the boots literally falling off of the legs without touching them.. or are they just really loose and easy to knock off?

Wow, you're actually admitting that here? Did you watch MyLittle Pony before watching it or will you just check it out after? My only question is where do you set your purse while you watch the movie? sorry.. but you did t-ball that one up there for the rest of us. Seriously, the only way to watch those is with Riftrax! pretty funny. I'm pretty excited for this set. I'm liking all the reviews so far. I am going to have to test my luck hoping it shows up at a local tru.

I'll throw mine out there: Iron Man I Movie Minimate

One thing I liked from the Clone days (besides the Scarlet Spidey costume).. was a story where Ben moved to Salt Lake City.. and eventually Kaine tracked him down. As an SLC native, it was cool to have a story in my town.. (extremely rare). I liked when Superman and Batman showed up in Ogden and SLC recently too.. that stuff just never happens. As for more variants of the Spiderman concept in Minimate form.. BRING IT ON! I stopped being bugged by all the spideys (pun intended) long ago. My hall of Spideys is becoming my favorite minimate display.

My TRU had all of them but I had to zero in on 2 of the 4 for financial reasons. The Proton Cannon is pretty sweet. I was surprised at how much I liked the Megaman guy.. and I love how these packs are loaded with extras.. Magneto in flight looks pretty cool. Bring on MODOK!

I was not a big movie-mates guy until I held the Iron Man I minimate. Now I say the more the merrier with any armor out there. Also, with Thor and Cap I liked them because they were still costumed.. though I do like the their comic counterpart's colors, I still think the movie mates have a place. The only thing I shy away from with movie-mates is the ones that don't look superheroey/villainy. It takes a lot for me to care about a civilian mate. Iron Man's new suit looks a little more "plated" than the Iron Man 2 suit.. and I would bet we will see more than one Iron Man suit in this show. I would also love an Avengers box set based on the comics to come out next spring.. At this point, I will buy all things mini+avenger.. and I have enough Max-Jets so I have quin-jets for everyone. Fingers crossed for a Antman/Wasp cameo.

The official trailer is out and has me pretty excited for what could be my favorite all-time super hero movie. Has anyone heard rumblings of a future movie wave? I assume it will happen since we have had Hulk, Iron Man I, Iron Man II, Thor & Captain America Movie Minimates. I'm looking forward to see the new Iron Man armor and a movie Hawkeye in minimate form. "I'm a genius billionaire playboy philanthropist.."

I'll mainly be picking this set up for Spidey.. though I am a sucker for the Fantastic Four. I gave in to the Spiderman variation craze years ago (why fight it?).. I have a display case just for all of the Spiderman Suits.. Not every iteration, but all of the significantly unique costumes that have been covered by Chuck... So.. just like the black and green spiderman (that I had no clue about the history of) I will be getting the white spidey because it is different. Viva Minimates!

I'm going to try calling the store in Orem, UT tomorrow.. anyone had any luck outside of San Diego?

loose hoverboard Marty and loose future Doc may catch my interest...

I wasn't planning on collecting the pirate stuff at all.. but after seeing all the detail on the ship, I had to pick it up. I am having trouble getting the bowsprit piece on.. (not up on my nautical talk so help me out here.. that post that comes off the front of the ship) Anyone else find that this will just not go on? I hate to hollow out the piece.. but I also don't want to force it and break something else on the ship. Anyway.. now I may have to at least get the Calico Jack 2pack.

Great pictures, thank you! I was slow to warm up to these but now I want every color they produce. I love all the variations you can make.. and I like that the pods with no wings look a little like a mini submarine. You can even make a pretty good Star Wars Cloud Car with these. These make great Quinjets and now the stealth jet is going to be piloted by Wonder Woman. The superhero geek in me can't help but utilize all of these things for the heroes. I even have Booster Gold going for rides in Marty's Delorian.

<sigh> damn you BTTF2 box set!! Since the beginning of the BTTF minimates, the one display that has always been on my mind is Doc and Marty from that 4-pack (future glasses, hover board) and a hover conversion Delorian. I will be picking up the car shortly.. but still sad that I was never able to track down the 4-pack for under $80. I can't wait to dump some garbage on that Mr.Fusion!! p.s. This thread is awesome if you start back at the first few pages.. I love it when minimates continue to live on long after they are officially dead and never returning.

The chest piece looks like a circuit board (or something similar) with lines and circles. Sorry I do not have the means to post pictures from work. All in all, Nimrod looks like a mighty hunter.

Just picked these up on my lunch break. Hulk is pretty sweet (Two hair pieces). Sinister & Nimrod look great (no extra parts) and I was surprised at how much extra stuff the Goblin/Spidey set comes with! Hair, pumpkin bomb hand, rope, glider, glider-flaimes.. that's a lot of extra plastic. Iron Man's little gun is a nice touch.. I first opened it and thought, "Hulk doesn't use puny weapons!". Nice wave overall! -V

I wouldn't expect to se them at Downtown Disney. Walt Disney Attractions & The Disney Store are completely different business divisions with very little cross over merchandise. Especially if they say Disney Store exclusive on it then that will most likely be the only place to find them. The few times they have shared something it has been an in-house product and had both WDA & DS on it. Thanks, I have a Disney Store about an hour away.. I'll have to swing by. Anyone else seeing this in stores?

I actually really like the minifigs with these.. I wish they sold them separately because I'm pretty meh on the building sets. This really makes me wish the G1 Transformers got the minimate treatment.

So these will be available at all/most disney stores right? This isn't a San Diego Disney store exclusive, is it? My nephew just checked all the stores at Downtown Disney in Orlando and didn't see any minimates.
