  1. I did a little tweaking but left it mostly as it was. It has low ceilings (Lego version) but I'm still completely happy with it. That said... I'm likely gonna buy all this Playmobil stuff because it looks so appealing.
  2. No DC Minimates planned but we have Vinimates? Boo hiss.
  3. Okay, I getcha re: the ages and pre-established continuity. I never got around to seeing the 3rd Nolan flick. By that point DC had New 52'd and that left a sour taste on my mouth. Thanks bhm! And yeah, '66 Batman Minimates would be damn near the very best thing ever. Oh jeez! Multiple heads for Gorshin Riddler so his mask was pushed up on his forehead like he always wore it! ?
  4. Frank Gorshin as the Riddler is the best thing ever, for that series to me. So gleefully infectious. What's interesting is that you mention Nicholson for his age but not Romero. The DC movies are dead to me. When they keep continuing the grim Superman, then Affleck Batman from one film to the next it lets me know that DC (at least the movies) don't "get it" other than one-dimensional gritty heroes and douchey villains.
  5. The backing cards of Secret Wars, Super Powers, Masters of the Universe and G.I. Joe bring back beautiful memories.
  6. Agreed. I think the Caesar Romero and Jack Nicholson versions are the best so far. One is a much darker side of the same version, but both are gleeful and clown-like. Heath Ledger was okay but his character should've been the Anarchist instead (sorry Tike Alicar!). And the Jared Leto version? Christ. Not even.
  7. These sound neat! Wish they'd release that "Calico Jack" army builder skeleton that never came out.
  8. Yeah! Too bad we don't have a purple shirt version of ol' Flint Marko. ?
  9. Elder Scrolls 'mates would be terrific! All the different races and armors/robes for warriors and mages. Oh man!
  10. I hope DST uses that Mantis headpiece for a classic comic version with Swordsman!
  11. If anybody has a Killgrave for trade or sale, lemme know!
  12. I'd take that if it meant the classic versions of Mockingbird, Power Man & Iron Fist and Invisible Woman (costume match for Best of Mr. F). I'd hope they include seperate Skrull heads, though. The greens on he other ones showed when you wanted to display them as non-Skrulls.
  13. I bought three custom cases and have all right hands.
  14. Vulture? Shocker? Tinkerer?! This just makes me wish there'll be a corresponding comic-based wave with these guys. Vulture and Shocker are expensive to come by and a properly funky Tinkerer from Amazing Spider-Man #2 would be such a groovy thing to see.
  15. Recent Lego set called "Spider-Man: Doc Ock's Tentacle Trap" was an easy-peasy mod for Minimates using only 4 blocks that are included to make the tiny speedboat. PM me if you ever want details!

  17. Looking forward to army building this crewman. And Robby will be a great compliment to B9... although they sure didn't get along on that clip PL posted. Hateful!
  18. I've got extras for customs and parts and just in case one breaks and they're super expensive on the secondary market later. Getting this series was was the best X-Mas gift ever.
  19. So tonight at work I opened my order from Luke. This is the kinda purchase I make when comic stuff comes out, particularly classic comic stuff. Three custom cases. The only character I didn't *really* want was Gregor and even with that, it's just that I'd have preferred classic Blacklash/Whiplash or Ghost Grey Gargoyle or so forth before him. I've been buying the shit outta series like this for awhile now and continue to do so to show support. Now I *finally* have classic Falcon and Black Knight, two of my most wanted characters ever. Series like this give me hope for classic Inhumans, comic Warriorrs Three and the Wrecking Crew. So this is my formal thank you to Zach and everybody else who has listened to alllll my wishlisting/cinematic-bemoaning over the years. This is like a whole series of slang for me. And if you were around back before he came out, you should remember all my Kampaigning then. So thank you Zach. And thanks also to Luke for getting these beauties to me super quick.
  20. Swap out Blizzard for a bulky, shiny-painted Titanium Man with parts for original and 1980's versions and TAKE MY MONEY.
