I enjoy all the reviews at mmc but I particularly liked the Defendors boxset review. The pics were great I especially like the one of Valkyrie. If I had one criticism it would be that the overall scores are alot higher there seems to be alot more minimates scoring 10s. I remember when there were only like 3 perfect 10s ( not including Bo Derek). I don't know if I completely blame the reviewers because the recent minimates have all been exceptional but maybe grading on a curve or something might be an idea.

Ares is just a cool looking minimate.

I would pay $500 for the pair if I had the money but, I could see them going for more especially the gold if for no other reason than people see gold as being more valuable.

I can't say I'm overly excited about these I generally stick to comic/comic movie related minimates but, I really hope these do well.I think it would be bad for the whole minimates at tru thing if these flop.

I haven't done "extensive" research but from what I can tell only Gorilla Grodd has a nose. Could this be what sealed the fate for our beloved DC minimates :tongue: ? One can only speculate I do know that I don't like it minimates shouldn't have noses.

I'll be completely honest I didn't notice right away they didn't have noses either I think someone had mentioned it on here or maybe it was in a review at minimates central. Anyways I think they are fine without them it adds to their charm.
