It's exciting to see more Ms. Marvel merchandise, but between that and the Marvel Legend, it just makes me want a minimate more. I believe this is the Avengers Assemble Adaptoid:

These look amazing. The redos are great, and Deathstrike was especially needed. Between her and 68, DST's done a good job of updating old X-Men 'mates. Personally, I'm most excited for Silver Samurai. In the press release, there was no mention of him being a variant, which makes me hopeful. I wonder the same.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I wonder if it would look alright if you used some Goof-Off (?) to remove the black paint, and maybe add a little gold.

I assume you mean Joss Whedon, as in Astonishing X-Men? If so, I think the whole Astoninshing team could use redos, with Beast in particular. Unfortunately, I don't think DST's in any hurry to remake any of the old 2000's X-teams (Ultimate, New, Astonishing). With this wave's release, they're the only groups of X-Men who I think look outdated.

Yeah that's one of the things that IMO makes this the definitive Nightcrawler.

I'd like to know this too- Black Knight will bring me one (very small) step closer to completing my favourite Avengers roster. (What I wouldn't give for a He-Man Hercules & classic black/yellow Wasp two pack...)

One thing about this set is that it makes the JJ box set Cage feel kind of unnecessary. I guess I'll use mine to display test subject Cage.

It looks like a tampo to me. They look good, especially Luke. As previously mentioned, though, Dillard doesn't seem like the best choice.

I'd definitely buy at least a reissued Lockjaw to go with the inevitable Kamala Khan minimate.

This is why I think DST should focus on releasing moviemates slightly before their film is in theaters.

While I'm excited to see Stranger Things products, minimates would have been much better. Additionally, it's disappointing (variants aside) that Funko's making Barb before Nancy, Joyce or Hopper.
