I just need #2. I still don't have one yet. That being said, glue will eventually dry up. You could be running into a situation where all of those sets were glued using a cheaper glue and are this separating. Dunno.

@ Donny - Your sets are on the way. @ MisterPL - I still have a full set available at cost or for trade, preferably for wave 48. And if anyone is looking for just the 2 sets to round out the Fantastic Four, let me know, my TRU has a few.

If I were to do this, I would probably use the 3D scanning/printing to scale up existing characters who are just too small. Hulk. Juggernaut. Abomination. Giant man. These characters, too me, are near perfect as DST made them. Scaling them up by 25-50% would knock them out of the park.

You'll be cool with it. I keep thinking back to this gem Zach dropped regarding the box set. I think we still have hope for more new armors. I know this does not jive with the 1/10 comment, unless 42 isn't the highest we Tony goes in the film....

Zach, can we at least find out which retailer will be carrying this box set? That, right now, is more of a concerning an intriguing aspect to me even than what is in the set. Only because I know the set will kick Extrem-ass!

Ditto. I keep waiting for the email to confirm what credit I want on the DVD pilot I also supported. I mainly supported this for the mates, but I think the concept is creative too. I want to see the whole thing happen, even if we only see a pilot episode. Maybe one of our archive gurus can find it, but wasn't it said that when Digger left, if he ever had a project like this, that needed Minimates, he would get them pro bono or at least cheaply produced? I think that is what is happening here. These mates are being made and passed on at, maybe below, cost as a favor to the creator of Minimates. Not as a money making venture for DST. Thus, if DST has a project from which they will make some dough, that takes precedent over Digger's project. I think that is the main reason these are getting delayed. I cannot speak for the delay in all of the other incentives.

As awesome as it would be to get Jason Hawes, Dave Tango, and Steve Gonsalves in a box set, I doubt DST would pursue the Ghost Hunters License. They would be awesome, though, and I would buy every single one, in duplicate. Ghostbusters news would be appreciated too, though.

I booked online at the Oakbrook Terrace La Quinta. I have AAA, which took it from $69 to $62. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the convention center, according to Google Maps. Parking is supposed to be $20 per day, which is about the same as a 3-day bus pass for Chicago. I figured with driving and parking, if I buy stuff, I can load it in the van, or keep cookies, beverage and other treats in the van to keep costs down.

I notice you didn't say "don't expect to see even half of them." Does this mean we will see between 17 and 34 of them In all seriousness, I would be super happy with even 10 of the armors from the film. I feel like a few could be made with paint and existing sculpts; I am looking at you, Silver Centurian. I so cannot wait!

Probably Iron Man 3 and Peter Pan took priority. And probably not in that order. Glad they are still coming.
