And, regarding the girl who asked about Princess Minimates: her and her mom got real excited expressions when Zach mentioned the Peter Pan mates. I think the mom immediately started looking for them online, too. So, the PP mates do speak to the girls too....

I was supposed to be a SHIELD Agent. The angle is weird; you can't see my holster at all. And I spent a lot of time trying to get that to sit right AND hold both a pistol and a rifle on the back. You can at least see the SHIELD patch.... EDIT: Isn't it odd that not one of us thought to have a Minimate in our hands for the picture?

@ Gillbob I will verify that what you said is true. Was it worth a mention here? Am I giving you a hard time? @ Groundhog Was this in the first half or the second? I missed the first half/slide show, Zach gave me a private screening and may have left something out. Although, I think there were 3 or 4 surprises he did let slip. And I totally agree about DST. But the guys at the actual DST booth had NO enthusiasm for the product/show.

Because I don't remember seeing it before, I took some pics of the Borg Queen (I think, I am not that into ST): Her chest block appears to be hollow, with the head attached, possibly, directly to the legs. I know enough Trek to know the Borg heads come off; I think this was a neat way to do this.

I could probably do C2E2 again next year. Wizard World Chicago may also work for me. New York is just too far for me to commit - or make. I stayed at LaQuinta - Oakbrook Terrace this year for the con: 20-50 minutes away, depending on the route/traffic, free breakfast, wifi, and under $70/night. They also have conference rooms. As far as post-convention gathering? Why would we wait for a whole week? I would think the day after the show would make more sense, but that is just me. :shrug: Before the show might work too. Other ideas are certainly welcome too, as I would love to meet more members!

I think Zach said that the Giraffe would be at TRU. Human at specialty. So, likely a mix again.

I'll ask him today if there are any *new* slides I can snap pics of to share. I don't recall anything different about Elektra, but i saw her briefest of all. And the Wade head was the only thing about DP I remember. Rulk was the standout though. Zach did say that another Flash Venom would be likely, as he is a very popular character.

Zach said that the Zombie with bullet holes will come with a clear chest block and the holes are on both sides. => Hold him to the light and see through him! And I tried to hint how much better that leather jacket Zombie would be so much better with wings on the back!

So like a General Ross under the Red Hulk like the Hulk in the recent Best of Wave? Yep. Design sheets showed an awesome looking Ross head with blue jeans (I think) and a ripped red shirt - hence post transformation.

Design sheets for Thunderbolts included: Post transformation General Ross White punisher tampo on the back - Zach admitted he forgot that at the panel Scarred Wade head under the Deadpool mask And for those at the panel whom I didn't meet, I was in the SHIELD Agent outfit. And props to Nervous for his awesome customs he shared!

So, I got stuck in traffic and the nearest parking lot was packed, so, needless to say, I missed the slide show at the panel, but caught the tail end of it. I don't recall the questions asked specifically, but in a nut shell: No Squirrel Girl - ask Chuck Doop would be cool and could be an accessory like the thing with NOW! Hulk - ask Chuck Battle Beasts is the only in house property DST is focusing on. A blank Minimate bank would be cool - ask Chuck No plans for Minimate Princesses - ask Disney I don't recall what else. After the panel and the Multiverse photo, I asked Zach about seeing the slides how and he gave me a personal screening! Highlights, without spoiling my "all access" privileges: The Wolverine control art was shown - they look good Mr. Smith and the robot control art were shown - I will try to get pics from the DST booth tomorrow. I can't believe I missed them yesterday. Battle Beasts wave 2 has been control-arted: Giraffe, Tiger, Shark?, Gazelle, the human bad guy from the comics. Zach mentioned a Toucan and others, but no bear yet. A New NOW! 4-pack, with much needed and well executed updates of 4 red (and black) characters a so excited for this set! My favorite: control art of Ripley and Hicks and a Xenomorph, along with a sculpted sample of the Xenomorph. This will be a very well executed line And SDCC cannot get here fast enough! That is all I can say in good faith. And again, a HUGE thanks to Zach!

I think these look awesome, but.... No stands or display bases? The trays look a little bare, IMO. Still cannot wait to get these!
