Shamrock
The trick with the Iron Man masks is to cut at an angle so that the faceplate's edge slopes UP into the helmet. I can draw a diagram if you need a visual. They stay on pretty well, obviously not as well as before, but I held the figure level with my height (5'10") and dropped it straight to the floor, and it stayed on. And they also can stay together as one piece off of the Minimate's head, So take that as you will. I also painted the edges of the bolt face one black, so it makes an outline, and I did the edges of the other in gold and red respectively, I can't decide which looks better. And Robo, I kinda fear doing Marvel Minimates, because there are pretty good odds that they will get official releases. I should redo my GLA set though....and finish it. Punisher
Very cool zombie! I usually don't like customs that are just full out torn limbs, heads sawed in half, too buisy, etc, but you executed it wonderfully.

Shamrock
I was thinking Invisible Woman's. Also, I forgot to mention I modded the AIM helmet, but only to make it so you can actually take the darn thing off. Shamrock
Hey! I didn't die! Except this is probably one of, if not the last custom of the summer from me. Then it's back to school again. But it's been a pretty good summer, and I'll probably be back come winter time. So once again, it's a not-lantern. It's The MAXX! Ok, boring shot, stand like no Maxx should... That's better. Never read the comic, but the TV show was cool. I should pick up those trades, but they're expensive. Punisher
OH........ MY......... GOD. I freakin' love the Maxx. I haven't attempted a minimate because I didn't think it would be possible. But dude, I should be speechless. Awesome, now I'm stealing this recipe.

Bob Harris
Shamrock, you end your season with a bang! This is lukeesque man! I am deeply impressed. The details are top-notch, so are the used colors! And I really like these two last pics of the Maxx. Great work, definitely one of your best customs so far. MINI_MYTE
I really never thought of the Maxx as a minimate before. But wow! You sure did an amazing interpretation. Way to go bud! P.S: Can we see a side shot of him? Edited August 12, 2009 by MINI_MYTE
cendelence
that looks awsome and those hands are freaking amazing ive never heard of,"the maxx" before can you post pics? The Maxx is Image's purple marauder, he's pretty cool with obnoxiously muscular legs and all. Here's a good pic besides the Issue 1 cover http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/imagecom...(TV_series).jpg As for customs, i'd say Ch'p. Definitely. Yeah! First post, suckkk itt. Kamsm8
I never knew much about the Maxx, other than this one issue of Image I have where he teams up with Savage Dragon, Spawn, Witchblade and someone else, I think. Eventually he ends up combined with one of them. It was very strange. But your custom is fantastic! All of them are! Amazing. I'm speechless.
