Which now makes me want to figure out how one can make a Lady Death minimate. (Ghost Rider's skull, Cloak's hood, Previews exclusive Sand Saref's skirt, those sleeve attachments like on Mariko and/or the classic BSG Lucifer, and some dark blue/dark purple paint?) And seriously, Cosmic Marvel is just rife with teams and story arcs tailor-made for the Minimate treatment. Off the top of my head: Teams: Guardians of the Galaxy, Starjammers, Nova Corps, Inhumans (kind of), Eternals (kind of) Events: Kree-Skrull War, part of the Dark Phoenix saga, Annihilation Wave, Planet Hulk (kind of), not to mention literally the only ongoing comic title I'm reading right now... Plus like TM2 said, we get to ruin parkers life everyday, along with the rest of our minimate continuity! The infinity gems are awesome and Im glad they gave him fingers this time. The gauntlet is very important and if they get around to the Mandarin and his 10 rings I hope he gets some kind of fingers too. Its not like they are overdoing it, they are only doing this kind of thing when its really needed. The old Thanos is my favorite mate, for a 2 inch figure he is imposing and bad ass, but damn this new set just made my day! Blackheart? Yes please. I'm happy for Ghosty though. He was one of the mates who very conspicuously had no villains. Now he has a villain. Too bad that whenever he comes into my little minimate stories, he always is the villain. The only others would be the Sentry and Dr. Strange (Nightmare would make a sweet mate). The only others would be the Sentry. The punisher still needs jigsaw, bushwacker, and the russian : ) at least the punisher mate could fight kingpin. not to mention the jigsaw movie mate, which didn't even have a "movie mate" feel, and can just as well be used as an everyday jigsaw. and same with sentry, when considering the "team dynamic" aspect, he's got all of the avengers villains. outside of teams, look how many more mates wouldn't have any villains. I order from them alot. If you log in to your account go under order history the order should be there with a processing/pending status. The Avengers have/had three main villians: Ultron, Kang, and this week's Masters of Evil incarnation. Ultron just attacked recently, the Hood's gang is currently filling the MoE niche, and Kang will always be back, eventually. There were/are others who could be considered mostly Avengers' foes, includng Taskmaster, Gravitron, Count Nefaria, and the Lava men. And everyone in the MU has to have Dr. Doom and Magneto on thier top ten villains list. It's in their contract. But now you've got a street level team of Avengers, a team of "real" Avengers, and another Masters of Evil pretending to be Avengers, so much like the modern X-Men, exactly who the bad guys still are remains muddy. Exacly who is a member of any of the teams is likewise muddy. Sorry - Back on track, I Hope Adam Warlock comes with his Bird-Staff thing (can someone clarify whether this is actually a necessary accessory for him? I noticed that the Marvel Legends figure had one & thought it looked pretty cool, but I’m not very Warlock-Savy). He started carrying the staff after his... third... ressurection just before Thanos started collecting gems for the Guantlet. He only recenty quit using it. I remember seeing it just before the Annihilation Wave, but not since. Point being in the costume represented, it's a very appropriate accessory to expect. Avengers villains: Kang Immortus Scarlet Centurion Grim Reaper Masters of Evil (though they were all other heroes' enemies, they fought the Avengers as a bad guy team: Enchantress, Executioner, Melter, Radioactive Man, Baron Zemo, Power Man, Living Laser ) Nebula Whirlwind Space Phantom Swordsman The Serpent Society The Collector Red Gaurdian The Super Adaptoid As well as guys who were others' enemies: Dragon Man Diablo Attuma Mole Man Thanos Klaw Man-Ape Even Yellowjacket for a short time That's just lookin' at Marvel Masterworks issues from the first 100 issues, too. Although getting Strange in the Defenders set was awesome, it did seem like a missed opportunity for poor Dormmamu. Since he's been done, how about a translucent-blue "Astral-Strange" (same parts and tampos...but all monotone. Think: Target Iceman.) paired with the Dread D? I don't know where this would fit in (an exclusive perhaps), but I think it's unanimous that we loves our clear 'mates (and villains)! I kind of feel the same about Namor. I love the two that we got, but I would been thrilled if it also got us an Attuma and/or Tigershark (those would have rocked in 'mate form!). While we have had a couple (Iron Monger doesn't count 'cuz he's movie-version and Spy Master just didn't seem epic enough IMHO) for IronMan, it still seems unbalanced for all of the variants that we've had that we don't have a Mandarin, Crimson Dynamo, Titanium Man, etc. for just him to spar against. Perhaps by Iron Man 2 we might get some "comic version" tie-ins (well, at least Whiplash) while he's in the spot-light. Plus I forgot all about baron mordo. The movie Jigsaw mate was entirely to accurate, when I think of a jigsaw mate I think of a face based off the ML punisher 2 packs, either one since they were both great sets. And I count blade and ghost riders villains together because of their nightstalkers days. Blades only individual villains I can think of off the top of my head would be dracula and deacon frost.
